How are course conditions in February at Pinehurst?

Conditions should be solid. I played in February a few years ago and had zero complaints.

Hmm, I clicked the link on Titleist's page and it redirected me to Pinehurst's site with different dates listed:

March 1 – April 5, 2020: $1,199

per person based on double occupancy

I saw that too, looks like the did not update it for 2021 yet?

I am tempted to call to see what the real price is.  Given Titlesit posted the rates I would assume its real but someting like middle of the week Mon/Tues/Wed thing BUT still a killer deal.

  DOUBLE OCCUPANCY SINGLE OCCUPANCY
Jan. 1-Feb. 28, 2021 $699 $829
March 1-31, 2021 $999 $1,299

Direct from the Pinehurst website. Might need to talk to the Mrs. about doing something in late February. $829 for 2 rounds of golf (#2 and probably #4) plus the cradle with accommodations, with breakfast and dinner covered is a steal. With taxes and fees it would probably be close to $1,00.00, which is still a good deal. You also get a fitting plus a $200 gift card.

Great find! Seriously considering this now...the Mrs. would come along, but she doesn't golf, so curious if I could sub out a Spa package instead. I called up to Reservations and they said she could do the "bed and breakfast spa" package for $616.

I would probably spend a couple of days in the area, so I am not sure about bringing her. Playing #2, #4, and the cradle. Would probably try to add a round at #8 and also pine needles as I have not had the chance to play those 2 courses.

Thinking about adding Tobacco Road as well, if everything works out!

I have played that course. You will either love it or hate it.. I played really good that day, so you can guess what I thought of it. In reality I loved it. It visually looks intimidating, but I don't think it is that difficult.

Yup, 2,4, cradle and Tobacco Road and you have yourself a nice little long weekend! Such a solid deal, apart from them bating me into a TSi Driver while I'm there!

Golf fees for additional rounds outside of what is included in your package:

Pinehurst Nos. 1, 3 & 5 -         $50 per player
Pinehurst Nos. 6, 7, 8 & 9 -     $90 per player
Pinehurst No. 4 -                      $140 per player
Pinehurst No. 2 -                      $180 per player
The Cradle -                             $50 per player

Called and booked for 2/26-2/28 on number 2, number 4, and the cradle. Added a round on number 8. Will probably go up a day early and play Pine Needles also.

What would this type package look like during the summer? I mean from what I've seen and read, it sounds like it's a killer deal.

What would be the draw back for pulling the trigger? Weather?

Weather could  be pretty cold, but for a good deal I’ll make it work.  I am not sure about the summer. I know it’s cheaper than spring and fall, but it’s not going to be as cheap as the winter. Need to still book my fitting. I got course 8 on Friday, course 2, and Saturday, cradle on Saturday, and course 4 on Sunday. Hoping to get the fitting done Friday before or after golf. Time to find my swing though as my last few rounds have been trash.

Can you just skip out on the fitting? I feel like if I booked this with limited sunlight in the winter I wouldn't really be interested in the fitting. Also did they mention a cancelation policy?

I’m booked for February 27 and 28! Playing #2, #4, and Cradle. May try to sneak in #7 also. Definitely going to play Tobacco Road on March 1st too!

@mci711 you can skip the club fitting and they have a 14 day cancellation policy for a full refund of your deposit ($300/pp).

Looks like a great schedule - are you checking out on the 28th? If so, smart to get in another round that morning. I may need to follow suit...

I will call up to Reservations and see about adding a round on #8.

Checking in on the 26th and checking out on the 28th. Home is only 3.5 hours, so should be able to get home before dark. Last time I played number 2 on Sunday and left for home right after. That is why I am playing number 2 on Saturday so I can enjoy the round and then enjoy lunch and a cocktail on the patio overlooking the 18th hole on number 2.

Very manageable drive and great planning - we'll be traveling from Houston so looking at flying into Raleigh on the 26th, arriving on property the 27th and then heading out on March 1st. We were looking at flying home on the 2nd but I may see if we can push it back to the 3rd; first time visiting the area so what's the rush if we're able to swing it?

Lunch and cocktail after the round sounds epic.
