Putters. I’ve been interested in a Spider for awhile and had a few of the older versions way back.

 

That stated, when looking around at current year used models in stores and sometimes brand new and/or in store demo models, as well as online photos of used Spiders,  the finish doesn’t appear to hold up.

 

TM needs to remedy this issue.

The only new iron is the SIM2, the players irons were just release in 2020 and 2019 in the 7-series

As I said in another thread, seems like TM went away from black PVD shafts and is now offering chrome shafts for the Spiders. I just hop they offer it in as a custom option since you can have black PVD shafts with the MyTP putters.

Different shape (back part is more round) which means probably different weight distribution, different insert so different feel off the face.

If you look at the custom component options PDF that was posted, you can see that the EX has stock weights that are more massive than the X. So it does look like the EX has less weight in the body frame so that more weight can be pushed back. I have to assume the message will be higher MOI and more stable.

I saw another thing in the catalog today that was a little confusing. On the TW grind wedges, the 56 is 35.25", and the 60 is 35.50". They also both have a bounce of 12 listed. On the actual product page those two lengths are flipped and the 60 has 11 bounce. I remember that the specs are different than the box set of TW wedges, but I doubt TM changed the specs on the wedges for this year. Probably just a typo?
