TM warranty

Just a quick question about how TaylorMade is in regards to warranty. My 2017 M1 cracked low on the face. Hasn’t been abused at all. I gave to my pro who is contacting his rep. I’m not really expecting anything due to the age of the club, but thought it was worth trying. 
 

Anyone have any experience in a similar situation.

i had my 2017 M1 crack a about a year or two ago and TM replaced with brand new M5. you can do a claim online if you want. If i had to guess, i bet you get a new SIM.

That would be sweet!  My pro still hasn’t heard from the rep.

From past posts about warrantees outside the 2 year window have ranged from being lucky and getting a replacement, getting a 30% discount code, and being told no....

I think OP will still get it replaced, the M1 and M2's were known for cracking on top of the head and the face, they should make it right or at least offer a high discount. Anything for a 3-year old club is really better than nothing IMO.

That was my thinking. I don’t really expect anything, but if anything is offered, I’ll consider it a bonus.

I was just wondering about a scenario such as this. Yesterday one of the guys in my group busted his m4 right above the face on the carbon section. I told him to contact TM as they typically have a very good warranty policy, however I wasn't sure with the driver being several models old at this point.

My pro texted me today and said since they are out of M1’s they are sending me a Sim. Problem is they’re back ordered til the end of December.

Awesome, maybe my M2 will crack playin these winter rounds lol brb gotta collect up some top flites and nitros. 😂

My guess is at least 10 guys are outright now trying to get their driver to fail

I guess we’ll see if it actually comes. I guessing it may have helped because the pro called his rep. I don’t know if it would have been a different outcome if it would have been an individual contacting them.

If you read the post three posts above yours you would find they sent him a new SIM head.

Glad to see the how TM handled the situation. I’ll be reaching out to them Monday for my broken SIM. Smash factor dropped like a rock after the crack - hit it solid and on the sweet spot too.

They are supposed to be replacing my SIM MAX for the polymer insert in the speed slot crumbling, cracking and falling out.  They said I should have it replaced by 3/16/21.  They stated a SIM MAX not SIM2 MAX.  They’ve always had great customer service!!  👍

Got word TM is sending me a new head - regardless of whether it's a direct SIM to SIM replacement or a SIM2 head (didn't grill my fitter on the details who helped me out), I'm really happy with their customer service.
