EI-70 question

Recommended Posts

I’ve got a few laying around when cleaning out some stuff. I have an EI-70 X marked “Lightweight” and the same but marked “Ultra lightweight”

Does anyone recall any differences in specs or is it a difference of printed graphics?  I googled for quite some time and couldn’t find any answers.

That shaft was somewhat popular about 20 (?) years ago.  There used to be a web site that listed the frequency of shafts and the EI70 tested much stiffer than the shaft marking.  Pretty stout.

Thanks Howard, you’re always so helpful.

Was a brilliant shaft back in the day. I had one in my Peter Broadbent Persimmon headed driver. Thing of beauty!
