lol I was confused there for a second, earlier in the broadcast they had Meghan Khang with the correct spelling but had her a +5, I was like wow Meghan lost it but now looking at the scoreboard it was Danielle Kang's score with Meghan name, come on guys do better lol

It looks like every drive that lands in the fairway ends up covered in mud. The USGA probably should have played preferred lies this round.

I know we fuss a lot but I am seriously having a hard time NOT making negative comments on this coverage esp when it switches to Dan/Paige... I just can't believe what I'm hearing -- in a golf tournament... for a basketball/football tournament sure, but holy... where is Paige broadcasting? " Earth falling off a cliff?" chuckles here and there and everywhere LOL.  Kyrie Irving much?    

 

Back to golf, it's clear that the past few tournaments have shown Ariya can be there and lose it so quickly... Moriya is the more consistent of the two... and I figure she'll be runner up, another thai, to follow Phatlum (BO 2018), and Jasmine (BO 2020)... I know it's early but we will see...  Yealimi showed why she is ROY (I know there's no award but she is the ROY for all intents and purposes, at least in my book)...  I think it'll be Shibuno, Moriya and whoever Amateur plays best is on the last flight tomorrow...

It's my understanding that the USGA is loathe to invoke preferred lies.

Not a fan of shaved turf near penalty areas. You hook a ball into the junk, or bounce it off the side of the hill, then fine, take your medicine. However, a ball rolling from (near) rest at the top of the slope should have a chance to be played.

The final stretch of holes at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook are known as The Snake Pit. This whole course is like bobbing for apples in a barrel of vipers. Best score posted is 1 under? Ouch.

I don't really mind Paige though she may try a bit hard, but Judy is the best.  Really glad she was on earlier.
