I'd love to see that. Is that video available?

I don't know how it would be possible to be an elite player and to not have that kind of intensity.  Sure, the conventional wisdom is that you need to be an emotionless robot on the course but nobody can pull that off 24/7.  I love to see focus when practiciing, that the player cares.

Anyway, good break for Cindy and the leaders to have the horn blow before they go out.  Should be plenty of time to go back through their warmup routine, hopefully this isn't a stop-and-start day all day.

Also, really impressed by the poise of Linn Grant after that debacle early on the back yesterday.  Followed it up with a bunch of great shots that she just couldn't get in the hole.  Looked like she was off to a good start this morning too.

Going to be a great day.

Have you been surprised that Muni is such a traditional woman at heart?  Can't see that from her Instagram pages.

The "non-traditional opportunity to be with the beau of a top team F1 driver" will certainly make a "non-traditional" women turn "Traditional"!... but personally, I thought about this on a risk return basis and it made sense for her - whether people agree or not, here's my "logic":

a) She hasnt had a good start in 2020 and her "priority" for 2021 had been secure once Covid hit

b) F1 drivers aren't a "dime a dozen"... even more, an Asian driver in a strong team. - strike while it's hot, who knows how it works out - Muni thinking

c) Short term mentality -- enjoy the moment, plus "hey, I get my $ from Nike, etc"

d) She's a "celebrity" first, a "golfer" second... (sad to say, but I have this feeling of her)

It is for that reason Qschool is a  "crap shoot" but I agree though, LPGA has not much other choices... (if Shibuno doesn't win today she's have to go through Qschool, etc etc)

lol I watched the ending of the race leading to the US open coverage, so I already know the ending.  I used to be a huge F1 fan but about 5 years after Schumacker retired I stopped watching, at the time the cars were so even that how you finished in qualify is usually how the race ended.  Nobody could pass anyone it was just horrible to watch lol

I actually am more curious to see what Red Bull would say as well as the commentators' view of Albon after the race and whether he has a ride with RB next year (hence I switched back).  Of course, we know the back story of Alex and Muni haha.

After "analyzing" all things,  Methinks Muni He will continue to be distracted next year in F1  -- which is good for the golfers I truly root for to get the opportunity to play (since Muni's priority is so high and my other "bets" are so low in the priority list, as of now -- eg Bianca, Andrea, etc haha - but that's just me wanting to see more of the "golfers who enjoy their sport" rather than being a "celebrity" -- again, my own view)

Back to USWO -- I digressed due to this USWO delay -- heck, this isn't appropriate in this thread (the only reason it is is bec of the delay!!! LOL)

Gonna be a long day they just blew the horn.

I am about 6 miles away and its big thunder and heavy rain right now!

I don't think they will play much today!

Champions is just north of the 8 loop north west about a cm or so under the woodlands on that map.

Well she hasn't even finished the 1st hole according the USGA scoring which the most accurate, but if she did she should give up on the LPGA and go get those big PGA bucks, cause she just drove about 390 yards 🙂

390? From my understanding that's fairly normal for low capper WRX'er. She better step it up..lol

OMG the standing water looks brutal, squeegee  time lol

I know it's an enormous effort to call off the play today and starts anew tomorrow, especially with CME Tour Championship coming up next week.

Weather forecast looks atrocious all day today; do you think they have a choice today?

I think money plays a factor and they'll do what they can to get NBC three hours of content, above whether they should or shouldn't

That would have been a miracle; she hasn't teed off yet!

I saw the same error and it is amusing. I know Minjee has done it before.

I was disappointed when I noticed it was on the first hole, kind of pulling for Papp - we must share a long lost relative. She certainly doesn't look Hungarian, not enough back hair.

You can probably get some action on this type of bet but you might have to go find a guy named Vinny to do it lol

“We’ll make a decision as to give the all-clear hopefully very soon,” John Bodenhamer of the USGA said on Golf Channel. - no more bets... LOL

A bad sign from Memorial Park Course; they just closed the course and range for the day and that place dries amazingly well and is brand new.

That's good, nothing worse back in my university days and having to show up to a grocery store parking lot with an envelop for Vinny lol

Aren't they running out of daylight if the final group tees off after 12:00 PM local time?

I dunno, maybe they'd tell them to hussle up, the $ / Yen is ticking (Shibuno plays fast anyway LOL)? {I can't imagine how it is in Japan right now, they're all probably drinking Sake at 2am anyways :P)

USGA’s John Bodenhamer just told us Champions GC has endured the rain exceptionally well — especially the renovated greens. But rain continues to fall. At Evian 2017, play was called mid-R1, scores erased and the event reduced to 54 holes. No plans for that here. #USWomensOpen
