Cheering for Shibuno tomorrow.  Always liked her after the Women's British Open win, and a win tomorrow should win me $100 from @18majors (provided the Olympics aren't postponed again or cancelled).  Tokyo will be going crazy if she medals in the Olympics!  Re her distance, my impression was that she gives it a pretty good whack.  Not Brooke/Nelly type but probably a tad longer than DK/JYK...

Second and third choices are Lydia or JYK for third leg of the slam.  Never a huge fan of either but would like to see someone make a serious run up the historical ranks (and it would be nice to see Lydia win again after imploding).

Shibuno will play Tokyo Olympics, you won.

I know you don't need the money, but for symbolic reasons I need to pay.  Do you have a Fidelity or Charles Schwab Account that I can wire it to you?

I dunno, maybe they'd tell them to hussle up, the $ / Yen is ticking (Shibuno plays fast anyway LOL)? {I can't imagine how it is in Japan right now, they're all probably drinking Sake at 2am anyways :P)

USGA’s John Bodenhamer just told us Champions GC has endured the rain exceptionally well — especially the renovated greens. But rain continues to fall. At Evian 2017, play was called mid-R1, scores erased and the event reduced to 54 holes. No plans for that here. #USWomensOpen

But you're compare 1 major to a non-major 🙂 lol

They are probably going to be finishing tomorrow at this point.  Good news for today's play is that the mud balls will be of less impact.  The mud will be wetter and less sticky.  Less will accumulate on the ball and, what does, will fly off more easily.  I'm heading out to play 18.  Y'all have fun.

Yes it's official.  The USGA suspended play for the remainder of the day.

I know they didn't want to do this; but I don't see any other way.

It's a bad omen for some players; tomorrow will be freezing with a high of 49 F.

They caved in!!!  They're losing their "touch" haha...  Someone is mad up there 😛

On a more serious note, what's the coverage going to look like for tomorrow then? Everything the same?

Who benefits? Who gets "hurt" bec of this delay/weather conditions for tomorrow?  Swedes win, again?  I think this is JYK kinda condition (either JYK 1.0 or 2.0 LOL)

Best of luck to the those fighting for the trophy, probably a perfect way to end this event for me, can't watch tomorrow and not gonna try and figure the programming for tomorrow and where it could possibly be lol

I would suspect TSN will cover it... but I am just guessing... either way, the saga of 2020 continues... JYK2 (journeywoman from KLPGA) will be a fitting ending...  like she'll shoot -9 to -14 tomorrow  to win it at -10 to -15 cumulative... thatll show 'em USGA 😛

Bummer. Any chance the broadcast will be on NBC tomorrow, or most likely The Golf Channel?

Just spent 4 hours waiting for play to resume while hanging out in the backyard of family members that live on the course. Standing water everywhere in the fairways on #7 and #9. We could see the maintenance workers on both fairways working the squeegees, and the amount of water they were moving was tremendous. We held out hope they'd get to play today, but after seeing the course conditions it was absolutely the right call to suspend play for the day.

I set up my DVR to record Morning Drive and the PGA Tour tomorrow morning. Now watch my cable provider update the program guide and erase my scheduled recordings. Ugh. Fingers crossed.

Shibuno has a great swing with plenty of juice.

Does she know when it's appropriate to attack pins and when it's appropriate to play safe golf. She seems like a full send type of gal to me. I would much rather her win over Amy if it came down to those two atop the board near the end.

Good luck to the field. 👍

I am a tad confused why the leaders (Eg top 3) tee off earlier than the flight of SYR A Lim Kim etc (T10)... all in the same side, eg front 9

Pretty sure that they are not doing a restart. Looks like there are only 8 groups yet to tee off, 4 off the back and 4 off the front.

You're smarter than this, my friend!

The tee time for A Lim Kim is today's tee time; they've already teed off but haven't finished hole #1 yet.

TBH I wasn't watching today LOL...  hence I didn't realize it was today's tee time! haha.  Thanks!

(Clarification - I wasn't watching = waiting for the latter flights to tee off -- watching F1 and trying to figure out Alex Albon thereafter, whether he has a ride or not for 2021)

Wind chill will be in the mid-30s when play resumes.  Going to still be wet although not raining.  Miserable playing conditions.  As things dry a little bit the mud balls are going to get bad like on Saturday.  Guessing there won't be more than 2 or 3 under par rounds if that many.

I'm not 100% sure about that, Olson has the best score so far in CC amongst the leaders (I'm anti-jinxing Shibuno haha).. But with tomorrow's conditions being windy and cold, it's going to favor the eskimos... 🙂

Eskimos? How about the Vikings? Calling Matilda............oh forget it.............she's back in Finland. Plenty of Swedes showing up though.
