The toe is my second home and the Pings have been great. Playing a 410 LST now.

Just get your trail shoulder moving on the downswing - that cures the toe miss.

thanks--I look forward to the challenge...I will be better than I ever was!:)

My typical miss is toe side of center.  At times it can turn into a sweeping right to left flight(I'm RH). I've found the Taylormade's with Twist Face to really help cover that miss. They may not be the most forgiving a road the board but with my miss pattern it's helped keep a lot more in the fairway.

You may want to consider a driver with moveable/sliding weight. Positioning it behind the location of your miss can help keep the ballspeed up on those shots. Personally I find the weights contribute less to right and left ball flight but can be a noticeable benefit for misses.

I too have the same miss. I went with the Titleist TS3 and it has helped keep it in play as well. Obviously for me I do this when I get quick in transition but getting fit for this driver and shaft has helped.

I agree with this. My miss is usually out towards the toe with driver as well. I am not sure why but Ping drivers have always been very forgiving in that regard. Both directionally and also distance wise

I have a G400 Max that i still use a lot. I like the Maverik Max better overall but the Ping is more forgiving in the wide areas of the face.

This is my quick fix, but I do more like an inch as I can be stupidly off of centre...  Another vote for the Ping g410s, as being able to throw the weight in the toe and have the flat setting are fantastic.

Without a doubt, the best for toe hits:

1a-ping g410

1b- TM SIM

g410- high moi, toeside cog and moveable weight.

SIM- twistface, toeside cog and moveable weight.

I mentioned the 410 above and forgot about the SIM stuff. I’m playing a SIM Ti fairway and twist face definitely works. I’d imagine driver works wonders as well.

That's what I do for all my clubs minus putter obviously.  I set up towards the heel side.  I know it's not the best nor is it a permanent fix, but it works for me atm.  Obviously need to get my swing sorted out.  I have noticed that guys like Luke Donald and Vijay Singh set up heel side at address.  Both were number one in the world in the past so that says something.  As for the OP's question.  I have tested quite a few drivers and the SIM MAX seems to be one of the more forgiving options.  Like others have said, a driver with moveable weights could help a little as well with the toe side miss.

Moving toward the heel was what I used the last couple of seasons I played with my X20 Tours. I had them reshafted from PX 5.0 to lighter NS Pro 8950, but didn't pay enough attention to shaft length.

In subsequent fittings, I seemed to fit best with a shaft 1/4 inch longer than standard. This is too little a difference to insert extensions, so I got lucky in alignment slightly toward heel.

Ive been playing toe hits on all my clubs in 2020...

Not so big deal on driver but my irons have the ugliest face wear 1/2" away from center now...

Ive gone through SIM, G410, Mavrik, Speedzone, Mizunos, as well as few other demo drivers to see if it will help. Ive seen marginal differences in all of them in terms of "forgiveness" as far as distance, direction, or consistency imo.

The problem I had was that while moving the weight to the toe helped to stabilize the head on mishit, it would often feel solidly hit to the right, which was no different than just going right. With my bad swing tho, it made it harder to turn over to protect the right side miss with all that weight behind the toe.

Fade biased CG and high MOI are your two biggest friends here, and the G140 line wins hands down. In the "fade" setting, it is the highest MOI, most fade biased driver available. The Taylormade M5 in the back/fade setting would also be a strong candidate for similar reasons.

I have a Ping G410 LST. OnSunday I hit one so far off the toe, I blurted out “oh no!” I quickly shut up and stopped complaining when I looked up and saw it sailing 220 and straight. It felt awful when I hit it, and it had no business turning out so well- that’s pretty good for a toe hit.

This week, the PGA Tour is at TPC San Antonio on the Oaks Course for the Valero Texas Open. GolfWRX was on-site Tuesday to catch a glimpse into the bags of some of the world’s top golfers.

The field of 144 is getting ready to battle starting Thursday for the $7.7 million purse, with $1.386 million going to the winner. The tournament is also the last event where players can qualify for The Masters, just like Canadian Corey Conners did last year.
