Callaway Apex and Apex Pro 21

Going to just buy the ZX5 and ZX7 and combo them if I don't see pics soon....I can test them and pre-order 

Callaway is going to miss the window if the keep playing these games

Ok...straight from the dark web and/or Phil Mickelson. 😂😂😂 I am not on Callaway staff so I don’t have any specifics. Not even sure of what the release date other than what has been speculated on here. Believe Jan/Feb timeframe like everyone else.

Those look great!  Standard and DCB (whatever that is) look pretty much like the current Standard 19's.  Looks like the Standard 21's have more central weighting this time around, and the DCB has more heel and toe like the 19's.  I'll be looking at either the Standard or Pro's once I hear the tech story and see the specs.

3 models! The Pros look clean. Std look the same. DCB 🤔🤔 I’m officially intrigued by that. Leaning Pro this go round. Need to see top lines and how much new tech packed in the pro!

I think all of those models are intriguing, the Pro definitely looks the best and the other 2 do look very similar to the 19's.  

 

Curious what the DCB are all about??  Definitely curious what's going on with those.  Thinking it mignt be "dual cavity" something.  Sort of like the old Bridgestones DPC (dual pocket cavity)

Hearing the DCB’s are big. Think Rogue Max only forged shovels! Either Dual or Deep Cavity Back?

Wouldn't really consider the bottom 4 "in the lineup" anymore. Once their inventory is sold through, they're done. That gets you down to 6, and most of them have a very similar counterpart in the product lines of other OEMs.

Fair enough but will the 21 Apex's be considered out of the lineup when whatever the successor of the Mavrik comes out? Its just a ton of irons is all.

 

Also, do the new Pro's remind anyone else of the PXG 0211 irons?

That Pro does look great, the 'ApeX' wording does look massive, could be the photo though. 

Im seeing why some people are saying it will be a competitor to the TM P series. 

Im personally happy about the finish, seeing a MB with Pro long irons combo set in my immediate  future.

Unless it has significant performance gains, the Standard doesn't look like it's going to tempt very many prior-issue Apex folks to make the jump.

 

I'm interested in the Pro's head dimensions--if it is indeed a competitor to TM's P line, I guess it would be closer to a 770 than a 790?

I hope they're not a true players distance like p790 or forged tec. I am hoping for a players style iron like the T100, King tour, or Zx7 style clubs. Great performance matched with more forgiveness than it looks.

I'd just like to point out that the Apex 19 irons are no longer available on the Callaway website to order online. The pros were removed a while ago, now the standards are gone, too.
