Geez Mallet went quick!

 

kinda wanted the mallet more but got the blade for Bettinardi just got.

I’ve been on the fence about joining, and haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Partly because there’s a local course, that isn’t anything special, called “The Bucks Club” (as in Bucks County) and I’m just trying to avoid that confusion. How often are their drops? I do like that they drop things other than just covers.

Pretty much every Saturday and you get two hours on the public. For instance mallets went super quick today.

I haven’t had the best experience here. Signed up in early January thinking that I would get the package. Nothing has arrived and now being told the 2021 welcome package is completely different. Went from the Yeti, driver cover and towel to a putter cover, towel and tees. Big step down and no images of these items. Better yet, they will still not be shipping for multiple weeks. I only found this out after multiple inquiries. Not excited about this.

mmm definitely not every Saturday. More like every 4 weeks on average

OK. So 2021 Welcome Package is a putter cover, towel, and tees. Def not as cool as Seamus and Yeti. Does anyone know if you get a choice of blade or mallet on the welcome package cover? I only play mallets, so a blade cover is worthless for me.

 

Also, for the COTM, is it only blade, or do you have an option of mallet covers?

Typically they’ll offer both options. Could be wrong and COTM may only be blade

I know when I inquired about this in December was told blade only. Maybe it’s changed.

I might be wrong but a lot of items I’ve seen have mallet options in their releases. Welcome package I do not know because I got the yeti one.

I'm not sure I totally understand the whole Buck Club concept.  Wasn't it started because they were going to build a golf course called The Buck Club and then started selling merchandise related to that even though there was no golf course.  And still yet today, there is no golf course yet they keep selling merchandise.  Like I said, I'm not sure I'm totally up to speed so please correct me wherever I'm off.

initially Zac started it to get a following and I think some financial interest in building a course. Then it evolved into the collective and specialty items for members/enthusiasts to show their support. Fast forward and now the course is going to be built  in Aiken, SC by Tom Doak and Kyle Goalby. So it looks like the Buck Club is  more of the “brand” and The Tree Farm is the course for the brand. I signed up last year and just got my welcome package a couple of weeks ago. I know covid killed any momentum and pushed back getting the items for the welcome pack.

Zac still aspires to build The Buck Club in Utah, it just made more financial and logistical sense to do The Tree Farm in Aiken. He goes in depth on a recent Fried Egg Pod

I like the masters covers but got a similar one last year. 

 

That last headcover on the bottom...another swing and a miss...

 

2021 is still a TBC no buy for me. Oh well, it's been good for my wallet
