Anyone know if there is a new model coming in 2021?

If they do it will probably be in the fall. Here’s their past few HB iron release dates. :

 

588 Altitudes - 11/2012

 

HB Launchers - 9/2017

 

HB Turbos - 10/2019

I got an email from Cleveland about a sale on the current HB Turbos with "while supplies last" in the fine print. Makes me wonder if a new line is coming as well.

I saw they too but figured their just trying to move some inventory capitalizing on the holiday sales.

I asked the same question,somewhere other than here, but haven’t gotten responses yet. Makes one wonder. They’re my 2nd fave iron set of all time. I’m trying to refrain from ordering  a set at the sale price. I’d like a mixed set with HB 4-7 and UHX in 8-GW. I’d say there’s something new coming after 1st of year!

😂😂😂 hands down my W/S FG 17s. Went on the bay and got a spare set of them. Talk about opposite ends of the club spectrum! Play my best with the 17s but really like the HBs a close second!

Oh wow. Different for sure. 
I game the Cobra T-Rails now which took over for the Altitudes I had in the bag for about 5 seasons. Smallest profile I’ve tried is the pxg 0211 and over the ball just wasn’t confident as with the hollow type hybrid irons. Played well with them but the 6 and 7i the confidence was not there with the slimmer irons.

Gotcha fine. It’s all about one’s confidence! The Altitudes were a great  set as well. I played them a few seasons but my 17s helped, believe it or not, drop from a nearly 13 cap to a tad over 7 this summer after I fully committed to  one set just to see. My goal was a single digit and I achieved it! Looking hard at Cleveland though 😳

I never got along with the Altitudes BUT I only had them 4i-6i. I had MTs for the shorter irons. I'm sure the tech has come a long way with the HBs. I will say they look a heck of a lot better.

Agree that on the shelf the HB Launchers and Turbos look better than the Altitudes. But of the 3 the Tudes held up better over time finish wise. The HB Launchers look like poop after a few rds with poor sole and cavity paint wear.  Black wears and chips right off. The Turbos are better but the cavity paint doesn’t hold up like Tudes which seems baked on.

I am gaming these at the moment in a full set. Problem I find is there is a lot of mass in the head. When you release it properly it feels like the club is falling off which can at times make my release reluctant. 

Going into the P and 9 iron there is a very different look at address that needs to be factoring in when hitting. Launch angle is very high and loads of spin but depends what you want in an iron. The look at address for me can sometimes be off putting if you are trying to shape a shot. If you are just smacking it then perfect.

I tried ordering launcher hb turbo irons complete set as well as individual irons and you cannot do it now on their website. New models must be coming out.

Could just be Cleveland blowing out some stock  Or perhaps Covid has them backordered in their supply chain.  I checked their site as well last week and saw the same thing.  I then reached out to Discount Dan's last week and they gave me a quote on a full customized set of Turbos.  If you want to order it might be worthwhile to check with them.   Unless Cleveland changes their cadence a replacement shouldn't be due out until Sept 2021.  Unless they are trying to capitalize on all the new COVID golfers this spring.

That might be the case, and if so could be a smart move on their part given the likelihood of newer golfers getting a lot more out of those types of irons vs a "standard" set.

I am kinda curious what they could do to improve upon them.  

I didn't see much difference between the Altitude and HB Launchers other than the Launchers were a little shorter length wise (about 1/2" which is a good thing for me).

But the cavity wear on the HB Launchers were a non starter for me. 

 

The Turbos improved on the back cavity wear somewhat but still not near how the Altitudes cavity's held up.  The Turbos did thin down the top line a hair.  

One thing I am glad they have kept up with is the minimal offset.  I hope that trend continues.  

 

I would like to see an overall darker finish like their CBX Full Face and new darker version of the CBX 2 wedge has.  Now that would be sharp.

Agree with you on all points, especially the shorter shaft lengths. I’m curious to see what they bring this upcoming year. I’m trying to patiently await till February at least before I make an iron purchase. Loved my Turbos better than the Altitudes. Like to see a 3 iron again. Still have my Altitude 3 iron.

I mentioned a while back my local shop said summer to fall 2021.  That’s all the news I’ve heard. Right now the Turbos are on backorder until later in the month.

I figure with the TRails new version out the Turbos aren't too far behind. Cleveland has a demo day here on 6-26, hoping they will have new product to check out. At least, Srixon will be there too.

I think Cleveland got backed up with custom orders but I just emailed DiscountDans and they just quoted me a price on a custom set 6-DW.  They said 3-4 week delay right now though with COVID backing things up still.  Also you can still order by the iron off TGW.com too

Just saw Cleveland quit selling the Turbos on their site. Says to buy what’s left from retailers essentially. 
 

Would love to see something With a similar cavity finish as the back of the ZX4 on the new HB. I’d be all in. Or at least a 6i to bridge with my hybrids and i200 irons

They should go with a durable black finish on the face/topline & brushed satin on the rest of the club. The black should be DBM, not PVD. IF DBM is not a possibility, they could use what ever process they made their TA5 Gunmetal irons with. It was a durable finish.

I'd be happy if they simply changed the base metal to something a touch softer that could reliably be adjusted for loft/lie locally.  This line is perfect for my wife who likes hybrids and needs some launch help but doesn't get along well with too much offset.  Unfortunately, she'd need them 2-3 degrees flat.  I wouldn't mind giving one a try myself in 5i but again would like the ability to tweak loft/lie if necessary without sending them back to Cleveland.

We should be seeing the new HB Turbos irons at Cleveland demo days very soon per a Cleveland rep. Hoping they offer a 4 hybrid like Cobra and less top line on the 8-W.

I always wonder why they name things “turbo” when they have nothing to do with a turbo. Will drivers end up being advertised as having nitrous oxide kits? “Now powered by NOS!” 😆
