Im sure its XPs those are HUGE

I was just curious. I’m looking at the Gen 2 0311 XF’s. I had the Gen 2 0311 SGI and thinking about doing a combo SGI/XF set.
but I read a review online and the reviewer said the XF was nearly the same size as the Gen 2 0311 P iron.
I figured the XP and XF were about the same so worried it might be on the smaller side. I prefer a big iron.

Also had the Gen 1 0211 and thought they were on the smallish side to my eye. A little thin for me.

Which head is bigger? The 0211 or XP’s ?

I think 0211 are bigger than XPs. If I had to pick one & keep the set for few years I'll go with XPs. If you are in players category playing between 12~14 handicap try out the P's head might be smaller but similar sweet spot & easy to work through turf.

0211 vs 0311XF Gen 2

5 iron pics

The long irons in the 0211 are more like XF and then shorter irons more like the P.

I don’t have a set of P’s to compare but have a set of Gen 3 0311 P on the way.

Played the 0211’s for most of last season but I have been playing around with the XF and am waiting on shafts to install.

Gen 3 P were an impulse buy so not sure what set I’ll keep for the season coming up.

OG 0211 irons are just so good for a 8 capper like me. On my second set. Quick stint with Gen3 0311T’s. What an idiot I was. Golf is fun again.

The new 0211’s do not interest me with those lofts.

Yes those lofts are jacked up on 2021 version of 0211s which means you would have to get space out all wedges correctly & maybe add another one or two.

I had the first 0211's but found the blade length to be too long for me. Was excited to find out from a youtube review that the new 0211's were more compact. Not excited to see how they altered the lofts. But at $115 an iron I took the plunge. Ordered the 6 through PW 1 degree week, GW I left alone & SW 1 degree strong just to get what I felt to be better gaping. Also ordered them all 1/2 inch shorter in length.

Fittings are important because every swing is different, I was able to hit the 0311T's more consistently than the P's or XP's 🤷‍♂️

They must have found a new formula that’s much better.  Looking forward to seeing pics of these for sure.

I would have liked some kinda statement that said-hey we made more money than we ever have during this sale, so we paid our engineers more to innovate, and to uncover never before thought of advances in technology faster than anyone ever has before..and guess what? They did it! And they really are the best ever, even better than the stuff we released last week...but don’t just take our word for it, with the money that we had left over, we paid the worlds best chemists and physicists to prove it to you.

else, it just seems like a bunch of koolaid

In my opinion, the Protos should be the flagship line.  Just based off the name alone.
