Seems like inventory and color selection is low across the web.  Would be curious to see if they will bring out some new colors

Thought the exact same thing and tried to find it.    I think it is a tour only.   Went back and looked at Stratton’s WITB which had a cult following and he had an all white Hoofer tour.   Wish they would bring those to the masses.

I messaged PING on Instagram and they said new hoofers coming in January. Not sure if it just colorway or bag changes.

Pro at my club said new Ping bags will be available on January 6th, with Hoofer Tour restocked in April.  Anyone else heard anything similar?  Hoping for a navy hoofer this go around.

Here are two versions of the new 2021 Ping Hoofer and 2021 PING Craz-E-Lite:

2021 Hoofer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxwTatnDXD8

2021 Craz-E-Lite: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmZmotnwHoM

I stumbled upon those videos this morning, but I don't see these bags on the Morton Golf website yet. I imagine they'll be up soon.

Same as the 2020 bag with new color ways for 2021 which has been a common Ping practice for years. As I mentioned earlier Ping has a 2 year product cycle for bags and the current Hoofer is only a year into the cycle.

Exactly what I was hoping for.  Want a Hoofer, hated the colors available in 2020.  Kept my 5 y/o L8 (also colors I don't like) since why bother replacing one bag I don't like with another bag I don't like.

Any word on what the available colors will be?  I guess I can wait a few more days to find out, but if anyone has the DL, would love to hear it.

yea I'm wanting to see the hoofer lite colors. That 2021 red, white and blue american hoofer bag they showed was a special release colorway I believe around July 4th last year on a hoofer lite. It also had the bigger Ping logo on the side pocket which everyone seems to prefer, anyway was a popular bag and sold out. Wish they would add the bigger ping logo back to their lineups.

Does the 2021 Hoofer still come with the little gremlin at the bottom of the bag that smooshes your grips together so you can't pull any clubs out?

I have no idea why this is always an issue for me with Ping bags LOL. I have 2 Ogio bags and it's never as much of a problem.

Ping bags you have to do bicep curls to get the clubs out of there!

I've never had one but I was looking at getting a 2021, that's worrying lol. Hoofer just seems to be the best blend of a lighter 5 way top with plenty of storage that I can find. Hate Jones straps and the new 2.0, broke too many titleist zippers to try a players 5 again, and the nike hybrid is 14 way. Hopefully I don't have the club tangle issue too bad with the hoofer.

LOL don't listen to me i'm just an idiot. But for whatever reason my clubs always get tangled up in my hoofer. Maybe it has a smaller base section than other bags

They will have that stand mechanism forever more than likely. It's been a trademark of their stand bags since as long as I can remember 20+ years.

yea, this is the one I would want, hoofer tour lite. They haven't offered this one to the public yet only to those who play on college teams etc and only black/white, if they offered it in more than just black and white would be even better.

Makes sense, that bottom has to get smaller with that stand mechanism. I would guess that a solution would be to pull out clubs before you engage the stand but that might be a pain if it's not natural. Doubt they'll ever go away from it though.

The base isn't smaller, it's just that it doesn't have an external foot design, instead the entire bottom base flexes to engage the legs.  This causes the fabric dividers and grips to be pushed together.  Simple workaround is to remove and replace clubs with the bag standing vertically (ie, prior to engaging the legs).  It has become 2nd nature for me.  I bounce back and forth between Sun Mtn and PING, but always come back to the Hoofer Lite.  It's a great bag once you learn how to work around the club tangle.

Yea that's basically what I was saying. I don't think I'll have too much of an issue. Also ride a lot so it's a non factor and maybe even a positive with no external foot in that regard.

Follow up, what made you choose lite over standard? I'm debating between the two. Thanks!

I'm more to the 'minimalist' side of things so don't need many pockets.  The Lite basically has the perfect pocket setup for me.  I also walk/carry sometimes (less than I'd prefer to nowadays) and I prefer the smaller footprint and slightly lighter weight.  Basically, the regular Hoofer looks a little bloated for my personal taste.

They use to not make a hoofer lite back in the day and the hoofer was slightly smaller, kind of in-between hoofer lite and hoofer. Those were the days. I've considered going back to full hoofer but the designs on the hoofer have sucked for awhile now.

I've never had an issue with club tangle or not being able to get them out, and I've had nothing but hoofer bags for the last 20 years. Mainly I just like the way they look compared to all the other options. Are you using oversized grips? I could see that causing some issues.

I went with the lite this past year for the same reasons @brew4eagle stated. I don't need the extra space that the regular hoofer offers and therefore would prefer to have a lighter bag.
