I put the deposit down for the original G.O.A.T putter, but got cold feet at the last minute.

It pains me to look at those photos and wish I pulled the trigger back then.

It was and still probably is the closest thing to the elder wand that is out there. I

f I recall correctly, it cost only $500 and made of GSS.

While this seems great in theory, he is essentially designing a poorly balanced putter where the heel will either weigh too much or too little.  This will likely move the sweet spot and possibly impact the spin of the ball.  We aren't talking by leaps and bounds but there could be minor impacts from this.

Yeah I'm not sure I completely follow the "...the same weight but in tungsten will be added to the toe..." But the fact that he's removing weight at the heel to offset the heavier neck on the 326g version leads me to believe he is considering how the sweet spot moves

Not Son of a GOAT but I ordered the 335g Arizonian with a sight dot, can't wait to get it. Always wanted a simple Anser style putter with a sight dot and no face milling.

Absolute joke that it's pretty much impossible to get a premium Anser with a sight dot unless you pay ridiculous money (Toulon might be the cheapest but that's still ~$600).

Agreed. And for those that want something in the 330g range, Toulon is out. Could you post some pics when the Arizona comes in?

I have a GOAT and have the Arizonan in both weights on order.

The GOAT is a great putter and has a great balance and feel.

The idea that the GOAT is a replica of Tiger's Scotty appeals to be less than do the clean lines (no logo on the original GOAT), and the feel.

theputtingengineer told me that the grade of steel he uses is better than OTC Scotty's. Having several Scottys (both Newport and Newport2s), the GOAT feels better.

I also enjoy having a putter than no one else has.

My G.O.A.T putter turned out exactly as the above, but with milled dots in place of the 'G's(first iteration). Aesthetically as nice and refined as any putter I've ever laid hands on. I play really well with it too, so there's that bonus too.

I think the shipments are going out by the end of this month.

It looks fantastic, ain’t it?

I was in line to get the original GOAT last year but got cold feet at the last second. Still regretting it til this day.

He’ll take order again in January, and I’ll be getting one for sure.

Could you measure the topline thickness of your GOAT?

Would you mind measuring the topline thickness of your GOAT too if the other commenter doesn't beat you to it? 🙂

Its in my bag at the club. Will try the next time I play (Sunday).

theputtingengineer told me he uses 303 stainless. My GOAT definitely feels better than my Scotty Select Newport 2.

Scotty's OTR stainless is 303 Cold finish annealed SS.  I highly doubt the puttingengineer uses a better stainless material but I'm happy to be proven wrong.  Let me know what grade he uses if you know.

Well, re-reading the first post, I can't tell if they actually own one or just have one on order. So, why not ask twice haha

Crappy indoor lighting pic but this thing is amazing. I'm playing Monday and will have more info then on how it feels on the course but just in my hands rn it feels great. Glad I didn't have to shell out hundreds more just to get a premium putter with a sight dot.

I got my Arizonians today too (335 and 350) and they are gorgeous. Two day shipping from the UK to the west coast of the US; wow!

Will be taking them to the club this weekend and doing side-by-side comparisons with the original GOAT.

Having a 326, 335 and 350 will be great and will be nice to choose from depending on conditions.

theputtingengineer is the real thing.

Pre-order for a new batch starting next Monday. Can't wait.

It's more relevant than ever, now that both the GOAT and Son of the GOAT are in the field this weekend.

I just got mine and warming up to it right now.

It fits my eyes.  Definitely a classic blade design.  Very clean sharp lines and has a great feel to it.  I love a clean, non branded look so went with a clean site dot without any paint fill.  Sharing some photos and happy to share more after I put it through the wringer.

My Arizonian is legit, feels and rolls amazing. Even with a Left Dash Pro V1X and a smooth face the feel is so nice and deep. Ended up ordering a son of a GOAT too as the Arizonian is a touch heavier than what I'm used to. I'll get used to it after time but what a great product, money well spent.

Very similar headshape. Goat is a hair smoother lines and a hair smaller footprint. Goat still feels a little bit better to me. Just put grip on son of a goat though and it has different grip then piretti so maybe that is the difference in feel 🤷‍♂️

Will have to test on course when weather breaks and greens are fast fast! Both so far I'm impressed for half the money of a Piretti GOAT!
