Got the M Craft 4 in the mail today and it’s beautiful. Feels great but going to put a stability tour blackout shaft in it this week and SuperStroke. Not a fan of the stock grip. Awesome awesome putter, similar size to the Bettinardi QB6 SBS I had earlier in the year

Picked up the IV today. Wow. Absolutely stunning. Not as blue as the first photo in this thread. Great feel. Great sound. It was between this and a SC Squareback and for $100 less it was a no brainer. Honestly I thought it felt better than the SC. Comes with a nice blue head over and a weight kit.

I have the same putter on order. I am excited to get it.

I've been playing the White Satin M Craft 1 for awhile now and have a few observations. I love the look, perfect size and shape.

The blade is not too skinny, not too wide, just right.  I love the white satin, classy and understated but beautiful,  I prefer it to the black or blue but it does cast a little glare. The weight kit is awesome! I'm 6'0 and got the 35 inch length, although 34-1/2 is usually ideal for me so I may cut it. I noticed with the standard 8g weights in heel and toe did not give solid, consistent contact unless I choked up about an inch. However after some experimentation I found the 13g weight in the heel and 3g in the toe was really working well for me. I know the slant neck creates more toe hang, but I prefer that look rather than the plumbers neck, even though my stroke is only a slight arc. I think setting up the weights this way reduced the toe hang from 70 degrees to maybe 55-60 degrees, so a bit more suited to a slight arc setup that way, and getting much more consistent contact too. Bottom line is the weighting, length and grip all can (and should) be tweaked to find the perfect weight and balance for your stroke.

I also like the stock Lamkin deep etched full cord, although I didn't at first, but it really grew on me. A perfect center strike has a really sweet feel - you know when you nailed it. A bit off center is duller and muted but surprisingly very forgiving in terms of distance and accuracy. Great feedback from every hit. This putter has a lot of positives for me; great looks, perfect size, sweet feel on perfect strikes, slant neck, well balanced, adjustability with included weight kit. Overall just an extremely well crafted putter, it exudes quality and simplicity. The included weight kit and adjustability made this putter really work well for me, it's better than most I've tried in many years, a sweet stick indeed!

BTW - I've gamed probably at least 100 putters over the years, from Carbite's to Scotty's, and only 3 of them remain - one of them is the M Craft 1, so that says something right there. Shown below are the 3 that made the cut: Bettinardi BB8W, Muzuno M Craft 1, Ping Anser 4 BeCu (circa 1980). The M Craft has the slant neck like that vintage Ping (which is a great putter that I love) but on steroids - more weight and a totally different feel. One of my other slant neck favorites (that I wish I never sold) was the Scotty Circa 62 No 1. That Scotty had a similar vibe to the Mizuno, but I ended up selling it just because it was much too light.
