Wow! Same SS with Rory Mcilroy! Good for you. I tried them like 3x before deciding to sell them. I’m sticking with my Roshe G Tours. Wonder why no one is wearing them on tour though. Except of course for BK (obviously) who used it then shifted back to TP and used it again at Mexico.

 

I feel you on that yellow stain. Once you catch it, no amount of cleaning can remove it.

Well whoever said the 270G was the same size as the normal 270 lied.

 

I wear a 9.5 in the 270 regular, and the 9.5 270G was super small due to the 'one piece' body you have to slip in to. 

 

Now they're all sold out 😕  so nothing to exchange for.

I’ve never owned a pair of regular 270s but I have several pairs of Gs and they’re definitely 1/4-1/2 size small. For me wearing a size 13, I can’t get a 13.5 so a few days in a shoe tree fixed it pretty well for me. As for the small entry into the shoe, you are correct. I had to use a shorn initially when getting into them but after a few rounds that has stretched out just fine.

zona, any truth to the rumor going around that Nike Golf will be getting out of the golf shoe arena in the next 1-2 years??.  That might explain the lameness we’ve been seeing lately.

Please say no. I almost exclusively wear Nike shoes. They're the only ones that kind of speak to the sneakerhead.

I cant imagine them getting out of the shoe side considering that nearly every edition of all these classics they release sells out. its not like the golf club side where it wasn't selling and expensive to R&D and produce.

Add, that with the retros minimal R&D needed (slap a golf sole on?) I’m sure it’s making money. I think someone pointed out that golf shoes and apparel were making money vs equipment, back when nikes exit from equipment was being discussed. I would venture to speculate that expense for new designs and tech is on par with any other sport they produce shoes or apparel for, perhaps less so as they borrow from other shoes/apparel.

yeah i hope it isnt true, but I dont see any way they would be getting out of making golf shoes. These must be so easy for them to make, given they are the largest shoe maker in the world.

Yes, and quite substantially so. Wore a pair in summer when the greens were flooding and the course really should have been closed (they kept it open because the final round of the club championship had to be played).

 

The 270s didn’t let me down one bit and my feet stayed perfectly dry. The build quality is top notch and the shape of the shoe raises any natural openings (particularly the tongue) higher than most other shoes, so I could trundle through the wet rough without issue.

Does Nike make any golf shoes with the same material that the TW13's were made out of? My TW13 finally blew out in my last round. The upper separated from the midsole. That was probably my favorite golf shoe ever.

Does anyone happen to know how the white 270's will hold up to dirt? From the pics that looks like a cloth-like material, seems like it would retain a lot of dirt?
