It looks like that this is one of the slower selling NRG releases in a while.

I noticed that.  Kinda surprised actually as this is one of the better releases I can remember!  WAAAYY better than the corduroy kiltie crap last year.  Guess the flippers won’t have a lot of success.

Imagine being a 13.5 at least in terms of Nike golf. Doesn’t even exist. 13 too small 14 little big

This is me exactly.

I am a 13 in adidas but need something between 13 and 14 for Nike.

I don't think I've ever seen a release like this. Pretty much every size is still available. Granted the shoes look awful but they still usually sell out.  Maybe Nike will get the memo to actually do something masters themed from now on.

It is very strange. These are by no means the worst release. I can think of a few recent releases, Corduroy, Tie Die that had much, much less appeal and those all sold out quick. They must’ve produced an absolute ton of these.

Are the victory tours 2 growing on anyone else or just me? I mean still aren’t exactly the best looking golf shoe, but I kind of think it looks pretty good with pants.

No. For me, the sole is the deal-breaker. If the sole had a flat profile, I'd feel completely different about it.

To me they seem similar to Tour Premiere; not the best looking but wow they are good.

I ordered a pair today to try and see.

  • Titleist TSR3 9* Ventus Black 6X
  • Taylormade Sim2 15* Tensei White 80TX
  • TM Stealth 2 Iron or Ping i59 3 iron Project X 7.0
  • Artisan MB 4-9 Project X 7.0
  • Artisan 46*, 50* Project X 6.5
  • Artisan  55*, 60* S400
  • Artisan BlueBonnet Carbon 0217

My curiosity is growing in terms of feel and performance and I want to like the aesthetics but I don’t think I can. I prefer a more modern athletic looking style opposed to the classic looking golf shoe. If I was looking for classic, I would go Footjoy Premiers. The VT2 is almost like a weird hybrid. It does look like it has a nice premium leather though. But I too prefer a flat profile sole, so the VT2 sole design and look does worry me enough to stay away.

I think I’m going to need to see them and in person and try them on in store before I make a true decision, but I’m leaning the same way as you. They may find their way in to my rotation if I like them in person.

This release is far worse than the ones you mentioned, that's probably why they're not selling out.

Agree to disagree.

I don't think this is the worst release in terms of aesthetics.  I like the look of both the ZIT and VT2.   In fact, it's probably the only version of the VT2, I would get.

I do think it's the dumbest release, though.  How can you have a Masters release that has absolutely no connection to the Masters?  As other companies have shown, there are so many Masters-related things to work with even if you don't want to do the green.

And how can you have one of the expected shoes not release until May?  I get that the world is experiencing unprecedented supply chain issues, but I haven't seen another company have to delay a Master release.

It's just the state of Nike Golf these days.
