What is everyone’s favorite Nike shoe to walk in? I walk 90% of my rounds. I have Jordan Vs that are reserved for cart duty. I picked up two pair of Roshe Tour for range and practice shoes. ZIT fits a little too narrow for me unfortunately. I walked around in Air Max 1G today and they felt pretty good. Would the 270s be a little better still?

Tour premieres. ZIT. React vapor 2

My top 3 to walk in:

1. ZIT...most comfortable ever

2. TP...were #1 before ZIT

3. AM97....great when it's hot.

Walked in the Jordan V today and they are pretty horrible. Won't be buying them or walking in them again.

Nike TW13
Jordan Flight Runner
Ecco Biom Hybrid
Nike TW14 Masters
Nike React Vapor 2

In no real order: React vapor 2, Jordan xi, am1g. Although I reserve my xi’s for cart to reduce creasing. Haha

if it wasn’t for the injected foam on the heel, ZIT would be my favorite as the cushioning is second to none - I mean, zoom on react is so nice. But they didn’t work for me as I got irritation on my heel using a cart and blister on my heel when I walked a round.

I know people had their issues with them but I walk in my TW17s when it’s raining or soggy out and they’re super comfortable and obviously provide great traction. I also think they look cool. I like the added comfort knowing I have spikes to prevent slipping.

When the weather is fine, I rotate walking in 1Gs/270s/XIs. I can’t put one better than the other in terms of comfort, they all provide great support and no problems with the feet when hoofing it for 18.

Agreed on this. Also the victory tours took forever (read like 6 rounds) to break in for me but once broken in they are pushing the top for most comfortable to walk in. Wish I'd been the one finding Tour Premieres in Ross or wherever.. would love to stock up on them as they're only slightly less comfortable than the ZIT and significantly more durable in my opinion.

i still find the roshe g tours to be the best all around. not the most cushion but all around comfort and fit has me wearing them more than others.

I agree 100%, I have Tour Premiere, ZIT, Air Max and the shoe I wear most often is the Roshe G Tour.  I hate that they are going away, I think they were the most comfortable of any Nike shoe that they've done in many years.

That’s super weird, yeah the Grey ones are definitely different!

Yes they’re mesh. Very disappointing. They look just like the mesh on the AM1s. The material on the grey ones listed above look very different than my white ones.

Yeah, this looks really weird.

It's what I hated about Nike golf shoes before the ZIT and 270 – they're doing waterproof by making the uppers a cheesy plastic, with fake mesh patterns and no real differences in textures. I'd say that's OK for an $80 3x a year golf shoe, but not $130. I wouldn't buy those grey ones in a million years – grey, black or white laces!

Depending on your size and budget... there's still a decent amount of offerings on GOAT. I never tried the Roshe G Tour (used ZITs this year and Prem's the year before)... I am actually going to pick up a pair or two if they fit me well and maybe even some React 2's.

The 2018-2019 AM1s were perfect for the retro look, wearability and non traditional style. All leather and essentially waterproof...not sure why the need to go toward mesh/“other material” for the 2020s and now the AM90s. It’s just disappointing knowing white is the base color for a majority of the colorways and there have been issues with cleaning/yellowing no matter what’s used. Golf can be a messy sport but cleaning the shoe shouldn’t be such a daunting task for the amount of money spent.

In any colorway other than black, I would actually prefer it. The mesh is a PITA to clean, and the Grey ones I have will be super easy to clean. They’re not quite as comfortable as my AMG1’s, but I also haven’t worn them in yet.

I will always prefer a water proofed golf shoe. I personally like the grey AM90s. They will be part of my everyday golf shoe rotation due to the easy cleaning. Some my other shoes can only be worn in perfectly dry conditions. To each there own I suppose.

So want the ZITs to work. I have narrow feet and they are a tough shoe in terms of comfort.

8s my normal size in Nike, too narrow. 8.5 too long and gave me blisters. Worth a punt again???

Try 8 wide

I get that and the 90 greys look cool.

I don't think you need to have a plastic Barbie shoe to be waterproof. You can put some other synthetics on the outside – like the mesh AM1 – and then put a waterproof membrane underneath it. I'm sure that's what adidias has done with some adicross shoes over the years. And I'm confident that's what they did with the AirMax 90 IT I own.

I just am dismayed that Nike seems to cheap out a lot on golf shoes. But I suppose all golf stuff is like that – make a $90 running shoe waterproof with a few spikes, bump the price to $170 and dudes still set their alarms to buy you out of them on release day! Or a $25 polo is $80 from a golf store. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can agree on the inflated prices. Especially on the Nike clothing. I hit the Nike outlets for polos and whatever else I can find on the clearance racks. I’m jealous on them 90s IT. I’d like to own a pair of the white and green color way.

Okay so I’ve got about 4 hours in my 270g’s now and they’ve stretched out.

I gotta say they’re legit. Extremely nice shoe and pretty comfortable now that they’ve opened up.
