Anyone have experience with the ZIT wides? I love the ZIT, but they’re a little too narrow for me. I tracked down a pair of the wides and ordered them. I kept my normal size (10), but I’m having thoughts I should have sized down? That’s how the Footjoys work for me at least. I wear a 10 in everything but a 9.5 wide fits for the FJs.

For me the ZIT wide were not that much wider than the normal width.

Thats what I was hoping to hear. AM1 and Roshe Tour fit in my normal size, just need a little extra.

The ZITs were the first shoe I have ever had to order a wide in.  What I didn't know about wide shoes, is that only the upper is wider.  The sole is not wider.  So for me, the non-wides felt way more stable because my foot was squeezed into an upper that felt like it fit correctly on the sole, but it was incredibly uncomfortable.  The wides felt much better on my foot but felt much less stable because now I felt like I was balancing on a sole that was too narrow for the upper.

 

Just my experience.  I know others have not had any issues, so I hope you fall into that category.

 Ymmv as with the previous posts. I felt the wide was too wide and loose. But the standard was too tight. However, I did go with a 10.5 and most nikes I’m a 10. Neither the 10 nor 10.5 in standard were wide enough for me. 
 

I didn’t try stretching as some have, with favorable results.

My Infrared 90s came yesterday.  One of my top 5 favorite sneakers of all time.

 

Anyone have any perspective on grip on the course?  Are they comparable to the AM1g?

90s came in today. Can’t wait to break these out for nice dry days, unfortunately under a foot of snow at the moment 😔

 

Took a pic with my old AM90s, think I got these in a 2010 retro release, they’ve been through wars haha

I’ll add on to this post. The 2016, 2020 and then the golf version. Solid interpretation. Obviously some differences- air max and bubble inner color, lines vary slightly, materials for waterproofing, but solid.

 

do not think these are overly “plastically” at all. Would much rather the treated toe than having the normal mesh. (No offense to the quoted posts but the toes are gross-2010 so it makes sense). These fuq.

None taken, these have been beaters for some time now haha.
 

Agreed on the golf version not looking “plastic”. I think they’re a really solid representation of one of my favorite kicks of all-time.

I know some people feel like the new 90s are cheap or not as nice as the Am1s but honestly I've been wearing mine as everyday shoes since this god awful winter has kept me off course and I've gotta say, I love them.  I feel like the fit is a little better (for me at least) over the 1s and they're easier to keep clean than the 2nd gen 1s which were just too high maintenance.

Hard to say.  Beams is a Japanese company, could be a collab, could be them hyping a colorway we don't have yet.

Keetonpark.com has size 11.5 and 13 available in this color way. I think some other retailers have them also.
