Agreed, and their definitely seems to be plenty of technical nonsense in Jordan's swing. I'd love to see him regain some form if for no other reason than to see what exactly "fixes" a multi year problem.

Bingo.  The grip will work with the upright swing.  Hit the fade and stop trying to hit the slinging draw.

Wish I'd seen that, but I kind of gave up on that thread for the reason it has been sort of endless, lol.  It will be interesting to see what, if anything, is said or noticeable about whatever work may have been done or will be done.  Butch is definitely the antithesis of Cam in the word department, so maybe fresh eyes and a "simpler" approach?  I enjoyed watching Cam and Spieth work on his wedge play late in the day on the range at the Masters in 2016.  Not a lot of chatter, but they were quite a ways from the stands and the only two on the range late on Wednesday.  Then he hits a wedge in the water on Sunday! This game.

 

Here they are at the short game area before heading over to the range.  Cam is still bothered by the shank Jordan just hit ---- just kidding, I think he's shaking off a tick.

 

Gosh that short game green I'd be a wedge wizard LOL

I like him.  I hope he gets back on top.  Seems like he started sliding when he starting chasing distance.  Makes what Bryson did that much more impressive.  Not many guys are successful trying to gain distance.

When your SG tee to green is that good, and you are a great putter, you are a great player.  Even when he hits a fairway now he does crazy things like missing a green wildly with a 9 iron. He was a very good ball striker with adequate length, now he is only slightly longer and has lost control of his golf ball.

Let's be clear here - you have absolutely no ties to Jordan whatsoever and your first two sentences were simply an inventive "delivery device" to comment about DJ and then wish "somebody" good luck.   

 

I feel as though I was led down an emotional path and then pushed into a mud puddle.

That's how one should feel after reading a post on WRX.

Yes, and Hogan went with a weaker grip and a flatter swing to hit a fade. Polar opposite. 
 

Butch flattened Tigers swing, Haney weakened his grip. Now he’s back to swing more with the arms.  Faldo went flatter and stronger with Ledbetter.  Johnny Miller was the greatest iron player ever with a weak grip and very upright swing. 
 

we are all different, Jordan was going to go down in history as having the greatest chicken wing since Hooters and he mucked it all up. Now he’s going to end his career like Padraig Harrington wifh 3 years of greatness and nothing but 2 decades of tinkering.
