heading to pebble beach- Spanish bay or spy glass?

Since California has lifted the stay at home order we've gotten emails from Pebble and Carmel Valley Ranch stating that they will open the hotels and outdoor dining on Feb. 1st.

Emails from Quail Lodge, Bernardus Lodge & Spa, Monterey Plaza stating that they are currently open.

Does it make sense to join the Duke's membership if you are going to play a couple of the courses there once?

Worth it if you go as a group (only need one membership per 4 people). You can easily do the math for one person to see if it is worth it.

Can you change reservations to the Duke's rate at 30 days out?

 

Looking at planning a trip for the fall planning to play all three courses (PB, SG and SB). Planning to stay on property and so can book tee times now but I understand they would be at full rate instead of Duke's rate for now.

I don't think so - you can book the PB round and base it around that (no Dukes rate outside of specials for PB), and book the Spy and Spanish rounds closer to the date because it is easier to get tee times there if you are willing to take the risk....

First pictures are a Scotty Cameron 100th Anniversary Pebble Beach putter limited to 150 and headcover that came out in 2019. You had to buy the putter in person at Pebble and I was lucky enough to get two of them.

The second putter is a Musty left handed PB putter which I bought when my wife and I were staying at Spanish Bay. I was in the Pro Shop at SB and I know a couple of the employees and one of them told me that they have a lefty Musty putter and had me roll a few with it and the rest is history. Usually they only have righty Musty putters so this was the only lefty that I've seen at SB over several years.

Ugh I saw one of those SC, but I didn’t have the $ then. Wanted the HC for my wall bad lol
