New for Aldila in 2021, Any News??

I'm seeing that all the other shaft companies are releasing a bunch of different items during this late Fall/early Winter but I haven't seen any news with Aldila. Anyone have anything out there?

Good question! Would love to hear about new aldila stuff, but I feel like shafts have a less rigid release schedule.

I figured I'd dig this out from over a month ago... Haven't really seen anything on social media regarding any new products or updates.

They made a white version of the 2kxv that never came out. They updated the Tour line with the green, blue, and Black hybrid on tour but never released those. They seem to put a bunch of stuff out on tour without ever releasing it. The latest Rogue 130 never made much noise authoring because the original Rogue White 110-125 were everywhere back a few years.

Mitsubishi owns them now. Wondering if they turn Aldila into a shaft brand that is mainly used for supplying OEMs. Leave the high-end fun stuff for Mitsubishi.

They need to bring the tour green graphene to retail. This has got to be the longest, straightest shaft I’ve ever gamed! I hunted for months to find one and it was worth the wait!

They actually have been somewhat of an R&D branch for Mitsubishi. They have trialed new tech with the Aldila shafts quite a bit.

I would love to see the Rogue White 130 have the TX versions released to retail or something with that same profile as a new release.

I love Aldila stuff - I feel that their shafts have a more 'crisp' feeling at impact, and I've always really liked that. The X-Torsion shafts that came out in 2017-2018 are some of the best I've ever hit, and would play one of those forever. Would like to get a 70TX green to put in a 3 wood. The TX flexes, as Mitsubishi and Aldila have always done, have a little more high quality material and a beefed-up tip that is so preferable.

I'd agree with this and I like the description of "crisp".  I get that sensation too and I am still playing some Rogues in my 3w and HYB.  Also have an old VS Proto in my TSi2 and it was an absolute cannon last time I had it out.  Big fan of Aldila, they just seem to work for me and I would love to see some new stuff!

Wow everyone! Thanks for chiming in! I'll admit, reading that Mitsubishi Chemical bought Aldila reminded me that happened because I forgot. I'll be keeping an eye on the Ascent but I get that feeling that it's not a shaft for me. The 3 shafts I'm currently using (RIP X, RIP Phenom and Rogue Silver, all in TX) don't match up with the profile that is Ascent. But excited to see the Synergy got a face lift and some updates. That may be more of of shaft I'm in line with.
