Another new driver? One that didn’t cost you anything? I give it a few weeks before you convince yourself that since it didn’t cost anything against what is an obviously very large club budget, it’d be ok to buy something else. After that I’d give it a couple of weeks before what could be the most fluid WITB thread on the site is updated with new pics of a shiny new club.😂

Picked up a Canada Basketball Nike Air Sport bag yesterday and new headcovers to complete a Stealth murdered out look for 2022!! ☠️☠️☠️
 

Just waiting for my new 3-Wood to arrive, then will be ready to lock in my 2022 WITB…can’t wait till the Spring!!

Yeah, we’ve been around 10* Fahrenheit the last couple of weeks on average…can’t wait for the snow to melt and hit the links.

 

At least our latest Lockdown is ending tomorrow, so I’ll be able to get out to my local indoor range and smack some balls finally!

Thankfully our Lockdown finally ended here in Ontario, Canada, so finally got to test out my Stealth Plus at the indoor range!

 

On Monday I tested it with the stock Hzrdus Red RDX 6.0 that came with it and I absolutely couldn’t launch the thing…way too low spin, low launch, and played like a heavier X-Stiff shaft. I was thinking the Stealth Plus might not have been for me.

 

Luckily I gave it another test yesterday with a Tensei AV Raw Blue 60 S that I picked up and the results were absolutely night & day! Much better launch, spin, dispersion, and felt fantastic!

 

So I’m committing to the AV Raw Blue 60 S to start the season, and will get the Stealth Plus, and my swing fully dialed in over the rest of the Winter! I also changed my Stealth Plus 3W order for the AV Raw Blue FW shaft as well.

 

The other update is that after 2 range sessions where I hit a combined 150+ dirty range balls, the Carbon face still looks absolutely mint and there isn’t a single visible mark on it. Definitely have no concerns about durability of the face whatsoever. Bombs away!!! 🚀🚀🚀

So, made another move yesterday. Ended up picking up a standard Stealth 9* head to test it out and see if it would be a better fit for me than the Stealth Plus.

 

Just left the range for it’s initial test, and there’s no doubt it’s a better fit for me based on where my swing and game are currently at.

 

Overall I would say that I prefer the looks of the Stealth Plus w/ the chrome on the bottom, the more rounded compact head, and the deeper more rounded face. But at the end of the day, looks are only one part of the equation.

 

The STD Stealth was definitely more forgiving for me, slightly higher spin, and easier to launch with my current swing.

 

I need all the help I can get right now, and the STD Stealth is still a beautiful club that performs and sounds just as good as the Plus!

Luckily I have a good buddy I go way back with that is pretty high up with Nike, otherwise I don’t know where I would’ve sourced them out. From the research I did, they’re selling out extremely quickly to re-sellers, and then they get massively marked up on the online re-sale market.
