Best cheap option for direction

I’d love to spend some a ton of money and get a nice launch monitor but it is just not in the cards.  So I’ve been thinking about what I would need to be able to get reasonably good practice hitting into a net.  The biggest issue I have hitting into a net without anything is that I just cannot tell with any degree of certainty if I’m hitting the ball straight or not.  Obviously I can tell the terrible ones but in the fairly good ones it’s difficult for me to tell if it is 5 yards to the right, or if the ball has faded towards the pin or over faded and would have missed the green to the right.  
 

is there a cheap option that will give me this basic directional information with a decent degree of accuracy?  If it would also get close on carry distances that would be great, but I believe I could get good practice if I could just tell if I would hit a green or not...

It does show direction but it is based on how you line it up.  so off a little can throw off your shot a bit IMO.  I had one for 3 years and its good inside but terrible outside.

According to that video and the ES website I’d be pretty sure it’s not measuring direction at all. It’s doing launch angle but not left/right or side spin IMHO. 
 

Skytrak and Mevo+ are still your cheapest options unfortunately.
