Either WedgeWorks options or a new grind for retail, IMO.  SM8 was just released less than a year ago.

for sure. Waaaaay too many SM8's and leftover SM7's on retail shelves to introduce a new line.

Need to start a Rumour...after extensive testing,market feedback suggests a Classic Revival market...after much Sole Searching.SM588 was deemed the best mix for Lost Soles...just copy n paste..works for SC...rumours suggest this sole may have seen lots of TourAction

That would be my guess, that is a growing market.  Would Vokey dabble in it?  Or would they call it something else and keep the Vokey line as fine blade wedges?

TSi1 and TSi4. Probably some WedgeWorks designs. I can't wait for TSI1 and TSi4. 4 different heads to fit with? Yes Please

My guess is that this is a release similar to the "blue" SM7s released a few months into their lifecycle.

Can we finally get SM8 V-grind?

 

Best grind ever, and it makes absolute no sense they didn’t include it as a standard option in the first SM8 release. 
 

Regarding driver, I’m pretty sure it’s TSi4 and a small bird told me Smoke Blue RDX might be the standard option. (Like Smoke Yellow was in TS4 compared to Smoke Black in TS2/TS3 😊)

I said this a few months ago in another thread but...... there is a very well known club builder that did an AMA. Someone asked him if he should get the SM8 or save money and go SM7. His response was, “wait a few months and get the SM8s at a discount.” That one was a kick to the pills because I had just bought the 8s and hadn’t  even received them in the mail.

I currently play the 54M SM7, have played it since it was an SM4 TVD.  I was a tad irritated that it’s not a stock SM8 wedge.  I will likely have to replace the 54M next spring.  Grooves are tired now, anti boredom trips to the range at Carl’s Golfland will have the range rocks finishing the grooves out this winter
