Bush Nell hybrid rangefinder

Can Anyone offer some input about this model, I was liking the idea of it, I play at various golf courses and it would be nice to just have stock yardages along with a approximate.

Not a fan of this Model when I tried it, bulky and I believe you have to charge the GPS side. I would opt for something simpler for GPS yardage side. The Voice 2, or Phantom are simple to use for GPS yardage. I would stick with a simple laser and don't overpay, they all work well now.  Precession pro is what I went with and very happy, take the $150 or more you save and buy the GPS device! Good Luck

I have the Bushnell Hybrid and enjoy it. It is thicker than a normal rangefinder, but I don't find it to be offputting at all. Still fits in my hand nicely, the ergonomics built in ensure that. The laser is obviously fantastic, and the gps yardages are what they are. They can occasionally be a 'touch' off - never way off in my experience - but you almost have to expect that on any hand held gps while golfing. Also I very much enjoy that the yardages to the front, back, and middle can be viewed on the side as well as when you look through the laser scope. Uploading courses is easy using your phone and the app. The Bushnell app itself for keeping score I don't find particularly useful, but I'm not big into the scorekeeping apps anyways - ymmv. You do have to charge the gps side separately with a usb cord, but I actually like that for a couple of reasons. 1 - how many batteries would you go through if both the laser and gps relied on it, and 2 - if the gps end does die because you forgot to charge it, you still have a functional rangefinder with the laser working off its own battery.
