FGS Vision wood shaft?

Anybody ever tried this shaft?

I have not tried that particular shaft but I have tried the FGS line of shafts. They’re actually good quality and for the price hard to beat.

Yea it looks interesting figured id give the x stiff a try in my driver

Anyone ever give these a try? I’m planning on buying about 3 of them to test optimal driver length for me and not wreck expensive shafts. Then I’ll experiment with my 3 wood as well.

 

don’t really care where the ball goes as I’m more focused on contact location on the face. Right now I’m very heely and trying to get just toe side of center

That's a fine option for your purposes. Occasionally diamond tour blows out old Taylormade TP shafts for around $10 but since you're not really interested in the shaft fitting you.

 

Sounds like you plan on doing this BUT I would use the same driver shaft to test in your 3 wood, just tipped 1".

Good deal, thanks man! I found a different site blowing out some old stock TM shafts for about the same, so I’ll see which “might” fit me better than the other

I had one in an old driver. Green to match the green felon head. Have since moved on to the supercharged blue/red shafts. This combo offers mid or high launch.

Diamond Tour golf and Monark golf are the two I was looking at. Go directly to the sites because at that price they need to bump the price up on eBay to make money.

Are the super charged shafts counterbalanced? No clue to be honest. Its not a selling point so I would imagine No. Of the 2 clubs I build, the swing weight did not indicate otherwise.

On a side note, I have played the FGS Plus shaft in a driver and it reminded me of a Proforce V2 with a high launch FWIW. Very stable.

Kinda related kinda unrelated, shirtdaddy on eBay sometimes has old TP TM lots they sell for peanuts. They're also my go-to source for shafts, always competitively priced. Just throwing that out there in case you guys haven't dealt with them specifically.
