A leopard, er Tiger, doesn't change his stripes.

Well, I was a busboy! In this most dope Italian restaurant. Food was so good, you wouldn’t believe. Made like 80 bucks on a Saturday. Everybody tipped great there. Owner was like 5’10 290. And his crazy sons all worked there. One son had giant scar on his massive forearm where a pit Bull clamped on. I heard he like punched the dog and knocked it out.

If Tiger left a bad tip there, they would have been like,

Hey, golf guy, you gotta problem with the food? You ate it all, right?

😂

I can’t stand bad tippers.

Supermodel?  It was Bridget Moynahan and they had broken up before he knew she was pregnant.  And FTR, they weren't married.

BM at the Global Citizen Concert, circa 2018.

With a clinched fist, she's clearly passionate about something we've never heard of.

There's definitely something underlying the megaphones.

Couldn't resist the not so low hanging fruit, sorry.  Wife says, "Really?"  She's the smart one!

I haven't seen it yet but from what I gather everyone that is interviewed has been pretty much cut out of Tigers life. When you have as much wealth and fame as Tiger being cut out hurts and I could see some resentment. His first girlfriend is probably still running through the scenarios in her head and twisting it around how she lost it all. If there was actually people that are still his friend being interviewed and Tiger as well I would be more interested, kinda like the Last Dance with Jordan which was good.

Wait, she in John Wick too?

Tom should have stuck with her.

Although GB does adamantly defend her Tom after Super Bowl losses 😂

Tiger Woods has brought so much joy & amusement (for golfers and even non golfers but sports lovers), wealth (for peers, manufacturers, media, sponsors,...) opportunities (for disadvantaged children and youth through foundations and social initiatives), and many other tangible and intangible benefits for others and...

...he makes a marital mistake (I know, I know...for many people he lied to everybody and stopped being exemplary..., not for me) and he gets dragged through the mud and humiliated in front of the whole world (without any free passes like sooo many people got in their life). After this and severe physical problems, he makes one of the most amazing comebacks of all time and returns to bring joy, amusement, wealth and opportunities... but that is not enough... some people think he needs to get reminded of his mistakes or even dig in the wrong decisions of his parents...

Why don’t we give him a break? I think he deserves it.

Have a great game.

"He makes a marital mistake"??? That's laughable.  He had affairs with reportedly over 40 women!!!

I agree he is one of the two greatest golfers of all time and had arguably the greatest 10-year run ever. And his comeback was second only to Ben Hogan's (he almost died in a car-bus accident).  But to say his off the course shennigans was a mistake is ridiculous.

I haven't seen the documentary and probably won't.  I am very familiar with his career accomplishments and I don't need to hear about his other "exploits".  Highlights of his victories are replayed enough that another video compiling them is unnecessary.

His humility over the last couple of years (as opposed to upper-cuts in celebration) is admirable.  I have greater appreciation for him and his accomplishments, but another rehash is not something I have any interest in.  Actually, I am sick of the Players promo that Golf channel runs every hour of that putt.  It's as bad as all the State Farm commercials with Aaron Rodgers.  Just one more reason for the MUTE button

Squeaky clean???  Only to those unfamiliar.  Maybe I just have more access, but let's just say the whole "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" is kiddie pool territory.  The private bungalows at Bellagio are next level.

TW's story is only shocking for the sheltered / media overdrive.  To me it's just comedy.  So funny in fact I ordered 100s of wrist bands with WWTD (what would tiger do) to piss on the other crowds with similar nonsense wrist bands.  But yes, it was huge news, not because he was so different, or such a clean image, but because the media just loves to act like sharks.

This is why it is so much easier to keep it between the ropes. As Sir Charles said, I am not a role model.  TW profited off of his image because people bought into that image.  Are people's lives so deplete they need to model someone they know so little about?  I guess so.

I will always have three great memories of TW first hand:

1. Watching him play at Stanford (casual round, just a few of us) as a freshman.  He did things that just seemed impossible on a course that is not easy.

2. Having a brief chat about staying in Ayrshire in 2009 at Turnberry.  I made him (well not purposely, it was just a glance) open the door to the clubhouse.  When I told him to step it up, he laughed about it.

3. Later that year standing on the Cal sidelines laughing my A off when the Cal fans booed the hell out of him at Stanford! during halftime at the Big Game when he was getting into the Stanford Sports HOF.

Wow, who knew just days later, the superstar was about to crash hard?!  Still, never bought into the squeaky clean image, and never cared.  His golf over decades has been spectacular, fun to watch, all credit due, let's just leave it at that.

A reasonable person would agree, TW is once in a generation or two or three...changed the game.  It really does not matter how he got there...he got there.

Most don't have inside info as you may on TW--- so yeah "squeaky clean image" is not a far fetch for the vast majority.  "Shocking only to the Sheltered/media overdrive"---  Give me a break. Product endorsements from publicly known figures have been around since the beginning of media.

Also comparing TB12 split to TW's issues is an apples/oranges comparison.

You may want to watch it, because if there was any resentment or bitterness on the part of Tiger's first girlfriend, she absolutely didn't show it.  She had kind things to say about Tiger and described him as a nice, shy young man who probably wasn't ready for the world he was about to enter.  She also knew that his parents were largely, if not entirely, responsible for Tiger ending things with her.

Exactly. I like this better than the last dance, which i enjoyed from a nostalgia perspective, but thought it was weak how they bowed the knee to MJ and kind of let it become a slurpfest.

Jordan's company did The Last Dance.  Naturally anything that could make Jordan look bad wasn't included.  It was well done and fun to watch, but not exactly an all access look.  No doubt it would be the same if Tiger was included.

Car accidents occur THOUSANDS of times per year.   People get into accidents and recover all the time.

Comeback and Recovery are two very different things.

I wonder what made him so uncaring and cheap when dealing with other people. Was that Earl's upbringing as well?

Could be. My wife’s cousins dad was crazy cheap. He’d use the neighbors garden hose when they were on vacation to save money!

The cousin is cringeworthy cheap.

Tiger knows it’s totally wrong to stiff people but he does it anyway. Hope he has stopped doing that.

I don't mind a hard hitting documentary, BUT if the other side doesn't get their say to defend or debunk what is said then it is nothing more than tabloid garbage.
