@BallerNateYeah, just ordered my 699's yesterday. The rest of my bag is good for now. I bought 2 SM7 wedges a couple of months ago along with an Evnroll ER2 putter and an Ex9 3 wood. I'm still playing an M4 D Type driver and M4 3/4 hybrids from a couple of years ago. Oh, also got a Sun Mountain 4.5 14 way bag and murdered out Sunfish headcovers for my Driver, 3W and hybrids. I think I'm all set for this year, LOL.

Whelp, made it 2 months farther than last year

 

Just sprung for a new Driver - SIM2 10.5 with VA Nemesys 65s. Have the head, shaft in 1-2 weeks.

Either way, wedges get here next week.  Appears the only thi g that won't change this year are the irons...unless Ping decides to replace S55 or i500 with something new...then I'm in.  Well,.out for a third time.

I am still buying BGD irons in May, but my guess is they won't replace my gamers. I am pretty damn happy with how my bag sits right now. The driver swing weight with the new shaft was the kicker. But as of right now, bag as in sig is set.

Haven't played first round yet but

sure have gone back in time. Between these two bags there are 14 clubs that will make the cut, lol. Likely the 3-P AP2 will get more play than the Nikes. I did hedge and pick up a backup SMT driver for a change of pace and an Amp Cell 2-3 just in case. Only one putter. Two specialty wedges, 54 and 60. This year it's about comfort clubs that I have have had consistent success with. Well, except for the backup driver and putter. I'm sticking with the putter this year through thick and thin. Really I am.

Well, that was quick.  My swing speed has taken a dip and my delivery has changed, I just can't get sufficient launch of the 9* M3 440 so I'm off to a 12* 2016 M2 head instead w/Aldila Tour Blue R.

Lob wedge is definitely the biggest area of concern. Carrying a 64deg wedge is not the right answer for me, but I don't have a better option for delicate shots around the greens right now so I'll roll the dice with it.

Gave in to the lure of zx7s as previously reported, now new putter from Lamont should be here Monday!  I guess my only redemption may come if upon meeting Joe Kwok in a few weeks, I don't decide I need wedges beyond the ones he made for me last year, lol.  Just stopping in to say "hi" and maybe check some grinds, but already feeling the urge. 😉

I got thru 2019 fairly easy but this year I went on a driver search to where I have failed miserably as I don't care as I completely overhauled my whole set except I kept my SM8 wedges and pieritti potenza putter. Bought all new woods, Callaway Epic driver 3W and 5W. Then my awesome Srixon ZX5 4-PW with UST Recoil smacwrap shafts.  Even went out and got a Srixon staff bag to match my irons.Playing some of the best golf of my life
