Depth is similar to the old SIM.  More on the deep side though.

Was really hoping the sim 2 hybrids would be a bit flatter lie angles but they continue to be the most upright on the market.  2 degrees more upright than the standard apex and 2.5 more upright than apex pro.  You can flatten the rescue a bit by lowering the loft, but depends on the flight needed.

Its a solid medium. Deeper than the pings. Really similar to the tsi2/3

Well TM has a bending jig for their woods and hybrids....but it's on the tour truck and no one is allowed to use it.

Saw sim2 ti today. Looks very solid. Sits square where sim ti sits closed. Having a backup of my gamer shaft readied with a tm tip and will hit sim2ti sunday. See how it stacks up against my trusty 17m2. I'll hit m5 as well.

quick pic of the Sim Max and Max 2 hybrids.   You can't tell from the pic, but the max 2 sits noticeably more open which I'm sure a lot of you would like.

Is the top noticeably darker as well or was it just the angle of the picture?

Definitely darker.  The sim 2 is more black whereas the sim is greyish.

Just got a call from local GG that my SIM 2 5wood is ready to be picked up. I had a crack in my SIM and they sent it off to TaylorMade to fix. Taylormade sent back the SIM 2 as a replacement.

Hit both the Max and Ti yesterday. Surprising to me, I hit Ti better than Max, but between my swing being horrible and wearing winter boots it is hard to say anything real definitive about either model.

Don't know what the availability will be but I hit the adjustable one at my local retailer.

I hit them both yesterday, too.  Also was not swinging particularly well, but did hit the Titanium head better than the Max head.  Would I upgrade from last year's SIM Titanium?  I'd have to try them side by side on the course.

Tried both the Ti and Non Ti (MAX).  Getting the SIM2 MAX in the 3 and 5 wood with Smoke green and black respectfully.  Expecting on the 19th of Feb.

What made you choose the Max over the Ti?

 

Did you see any difference in distance?

 

I’m leaning more towards the Ti as I want a flatter lie and ability to play the 5 wood at 17’ with an anti-left setup

Anyone have a SIM 3w vs SIM2 3w comparison photo?  I went from M1 to SIM 3w and didn't love it...are the head sizes the same SIM vs SIM2?

It could be just me, I put both on track man with ventus blue and I was getting slightly better numbers with the max.  The ventus was spinning a little too much for me so I figure I would get lower spin with the Smoke.

sim ti - 180cc

sim max - 185

sim2 ti - 170

sim2 max - 190

The SIM2 Rocket is the best 3W I’ve ever hit. The shape, the size, the performance. Simple as that.

Here’s a photo I took at the range of Sim 2 Ti (left) / Sim Max (middle) / Sim 2 Max when I demo’d them. 

 

The Ti model is noticeably smaller and was easy to swing but I had fewer mishits with the Max. I hit some long shots with both and they felt pure when I hit the center of the face.
