TSi3 3 wood vs SIM and Mavrik

Anyone gaming one or have reviews? 

 

I saw TXGs review and ordered one, Titleist always seems to be shorter than TM and Cally but this one looks good,anyone compare numbers?

 

It looks like some of the guys were getting driver ball speeds with it I ordered the 13.5 with the RDX smoke black

You can watch the TXG best  fairway wood of 2020 videos. They had brackets for all of the 2020's. I think the Titleist had a later

release date than the videos, so was not included at that time, but they did other comparisons after the Titleist came out, think Matt from TXG was fitted for one.

I switched from SIM Ti to TSi2. I’m playing the 16.5* model. I hit both the TSi2 and 3 but the 2 was clearly better for me with what I was looking for. In the past I had always used my three wood almost exclusively off of the tee, not really needing it into the par 5s I play. I wanted to move to something a little more versatile for next season. TSi3 was definitely longer off the tee, but the 2 was much better off the fairway.

The tsi2 looks good too but it seemed the 3 had lower spin so i went for that

I agree with that. The 3 definitely spun less for me. Just depends what you’re looking for out of it. Both are very good

Depending on what you want from your fairway wood they offer different things. The sim is a ball speed monster due to the ti construction. I find the Mav and the TSi3 to be pretty close but I find I like the TSi3 better it terms of feel.

 

personally I don’t look for the lowest spinning 3 wood. I want something that offers more control, so a little added spin and launch is a good in my mind..

True, I can usually hit pretty high cut Fairway Woods even with 13 degree 3 woods so the spin doesn't really matter to me other than I always look for low spin because I create enough spin with my swing to hold greens, for me head size is the key as I prefer the smaller heads off of the Fairway but it also has to be big enough to hit off of a tee otherwise I end up playing to Fairway Woods

I haven't hit the tsi3 yet but the SIM is the first 3 wood to kick out my old 915fd. The mavrik was very disappointing. Hit it straight but it was 10 yards short of my old 3 wood. SIM is a great 3 wood but with that said, as soon as my bonus check comes in, I'll probably test the tsi line. I like the look of it that much.
