No. They have different materials, but Jake at MCA said they play very similar in launch and spin.

Looking to possibly pair this shaft in 65tx on a TSi3. I'm between 110-115 with a moderate transition. 

 

Any thoughts if this prototype 2.0 is too much shaft even untipped?  

 

Seems all the reviews state it's an absolute beast. 

 

Currently play a KKDC 80tx in driver

We sound similar in swing. I went from hzrdus black 6.5 75g tipped 1” to 2.0 65tx tipped 1”. Extremely stable. My favorite shaft by far to date. Stands up to anything.

I just looked at the Titleist custom shaft list, and for the AV Raw White the 2.0 TX shows as the TX flex for the AV Raw White, and at no additional cost.

Nice! After reading reviews, I'm thinking it'll be too much shaft for me - I'm likely to order the Blue 65TX. I've already got a unicorn mid/low shaft with the X-Torsion, and a DI6 X, so with this shaft I can dial in the launch and spin from what I've got.

I'm a bit concerned as well, but I ordered it untipped so we'll see.  Currently playing the KKDC at 80TX so thinking the step down in weight will mitigate somewhat any additional "stiffness" for lack of a better term.  

 

I almost went with the blue but have always gotten along so well with the low/low shafts I didn't want to experiment.

I would describe it more stable. I am not super fast or super high spin, and I have no issues getting it airborne. Was at range yesterday in 25+ crosswind. Still very straight. The kick is still up by the handle.

I ordered a TSi3 a couple weeks ago with the stock X because they said TX wasn’t available. So I bought a full price prototype 2.0 to put in it. Now it’s available as a stock shaft. Could have saved $300. This one hurts. Can I get some F’s in the chat to pay respects?

Yes, it 100% is.

I ordered a Tsi4 9* with 75 tx 2.0 on 2/28. It was delivered today and I live in NJ.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm in Ontario, Canada and understand these clubs are likely coming from their headquarters. Still, my contact hasn't even received a shipping notice. Perhaps a border delay...here's hoping soon!

Looking at the TSi3 from Carl's, but it has shaft listed as "Mitsubishi Tensei AV White RAW SFW 75 Tour X-Stiff (TX) 2.0" What does the SFW stand for? Is this the real deal shaft or made for? I also noticed all the RAW shafts on Carl's for TSi show an SFW at the end in the shaft list.

@osubuckeyes691 & @fox_todd how is the TX 2.0 holding up for you? I’m about to go get fitted and swing is in winter shape. Was 109-111 on a buddies launch monitor and haven’t swung more than once every 3 weeks so should be able to grab a little more clubhead speed in mid-season form. 
 

I was fit into a G400lst with a HZRDUS yellow 75 6.5 and we started getting along REALLY POORLY this last late summer. The rest of our 2.5 years together were generally happy, but I needed a change so now that I’m back on the market I can’t wait to get fit this week. 🙂 definitely hoping for TSi2/3 or radspeed blue crown to win out.  Normally I’m inconsistent off the tee and the best I ever drove it was a soft flex X speeder 661 or a RIP alpha 60-S tipped one inch. 
 

thoughts on the TX 2.0? For context the HZRDUS was 2.7 frequency... so definitely a fire poker.

It didn't work out for me. I didn't feel I could load it properly to get everything out of it
