What summer golf Hat do you wear?

Well, I think that goes without saying but I use sunscreen. So just the normal hat for me.

Lol. Joking aside, sun protection is no joke. A quality hat provides protection and saves money in the long run. Certainly cheaper than medical bills for skin cancer. 

 

My straw hats cost roughly $30. I get a season out of one before the sweat soaks through the hat band, and then I use it for a year as my "rain hat". 

 

I buy a pair of sun sleeves each season. I know it's cheaper than the sunscreen I'd go through during a summer. 

 

In the grand scheme of things, a quality hat is a drop in the bucket compared to the greens fees I'll drop in a season.

I was thinking of you this afternoon Arg.

wearing my straw 'Gambler" hat tomorrow so I don't get toasted. the morning glare seems to be hitting my face right around the eyes.

been thinking of getting the sleeves, though my arms usually fare pretty well just with sunblock.

one of the guys in our group wears them religiously.

I put sunscreen on the back of my hands, but they're a shade or two darker than my arms. I have a golfer's tan line at the edge of the sun sleeve. As good as sun screen can be, the sleeves do a better job.

Trust me i know.....i have that irish skin so im always fighting the sun....even when its December...lol...
