JT with a Ventus in the Tsi3?

Please trust us, it is a VENTUS Black 6-X. He is experimenting with longer length in the VENTUS compared to the speeder.

Do you know length or tipping on JT’s driver?  Is he in the “purple “ profile?

Was just going to post this too, have one tipped 1.5" in a fairway wood and compared it with the difference for the longer driver ferrule and I came to the conclusion of 1" tipping as well

JT looking good with that TSi3/ Ventus Red combo out in Kapalua.  He’s been neck and neck with DJ off the tee.

c1 , he was usually a1 in the past ???, flatter on the static lie bc he’s gone longer on the over all build , flat bringing down the dynamic lie

I guess you haven’t hit it. The fact that JT switched to a more launch friendly profile says more than any of the “reviewers”

The Ventus Red isn't even a particularly "launch friendly" profile despite its color association and marketing. It is extremely similar to the Mitsubishi White profile, just a touch softer. Tipping it heavily would make it perform similarly.

So DJ used to play a rombax pained with speeder paint to make it look like the new shaft....how do we know his current ventus isnt just a rombax with ventus paintjob?

If that were the case then we likely would not see him constantly switching back and forth. He'd likely just stick with the "Ventus" is it were just a repaint.

The 'preview' screenshot on the TXG tipping video is showing 0" and 2" of tipping on the Ventus Red IIRC.

So looking at that image and this one - it looks like JT may only be 1" or 1.5" tipped.

I tagged Ian Fraser from TXG in the photo above (shown on the Titleist UK instagram) and he reckons it's been tipped around 2'' based on where the velocore logo sits in relation to the hosel, Also matches up with the ventus red video they did not long back.

Solid info.  Hard to tell - really - from the Titleist photo due to the angle, but likely not tipped as much as I had originally thought.

I was one of the lucky winners selected when @Fujikura Golf did the Ventus giveaway here awhile back. I wavered back and forth on whether I should go with Blue or Red and in the end I selected Red 6X. I honestly second guessed myself for some time initially but wow I love this shaft. I had probably my best year of driving in my life last year. Was longer than ever and straighter too. Mine was not tipped, but I am also not a super high swing guy and probably max it out around 115 if I go all out and would be more like 108-110 on the course.

Quick question about this build.....If you put a Ventus in a Titleist driver the velocore sticker will always be hidden right?  Since Titleist and Callaway use a dual cog adaptor?  But Mizuno, Taylormade, Ping etc....if you change the settings then you would have the velocore sticker right down by the head at address?

No it will Not always be hidden. Could change depending on the setting you put your driver in A1 vs C1. I don’t have one on hand to test but this is my assumption. I know my grip logo moves when I change setting so I would assume the shaft graphics would as well.

UGH!  I'm a mess on the driver shaft front now.  Have a TSI3 head sitting on my work bench right now.  Trying to decide on a shaft for it.  Tipped Ventus Red 6X just really sounds interesting.  I'm nervous however as the only Ventus I've hit was a stiff blue in a Sim head.  It felt a little all over the place to me.  Granted I generally play an X flex because I feel that I get better dispersion with them.  Its probably just in my head but I just feel more comfortable that way.

Man! I really want to try the Ventus Red 6X tipped now!!!
