BOS Scotty split?

What was the reason Cameron quit using Black Oxide Services for his finishes? I’ve googled multiple phrases and can’t find anything on the split

Well, legend and public record has part of the reason being that a son in the family of the owners of BOS, decided to sell some putters that did not belong to him and were tour stamped.   But, as legend goes, things always grow with time.

OK all I could figure, reading between some lines, it had something to do with stamps, so I will assume it was circle T putters.

The company referenced in the article below is BOS. One of the stamps was a Circle T.

So, that means if I send a putter to BOS I can get a Circle T stamp as an option? 😂

Wow I never knew about that article. Or the missing stamps. Wild stuff. So hard to trust things out there
