I was looking to order sim2 hybrid. 
Ventus Blue shows August delivery date!!!! Other option was Smoke rdx black (May arrival)
Any thoughts on either shaft? I have only demoed the Ventus blue but in Max hybrid

My sim2 rescue was originally May 14 then June 8 and now June 10th. I don’t even remember what stock shaft I picked but it’s kinda ridiculous the ship date keeps slipping

I'm probably in the minority but had a set of irons delayed from May 1 to May 15 but they ended up arriving last week!

I've got the 19.5 with RDX Black in a 6.5.  It's delightful.  Haven't hit Ventus Blue.

I have a sim max 4h with the smoke black 80 in it.  I find it to be slightly demanding and lower trajectory than what I was accustomed to with stock hybrid shafts.  For reference, I have a 100 mph swing with my driver and play the smoke black 70 (s) in it and love the way it feels.  For the hybrid I have been contemplating trying to get a smoke blue for testing, would love to get a Ventus blue, but don't want to spend the money for testing...

 It is definitely a beefy shaft.  My swing speed is in the 105-110 range with driver and the 6.5 hybrid shaft makes me really focus on each swing!

Thanx for the input...may give the Smoke Blk 6.0 a shot. Also checked the TM site and looks like parts are coming in quicker then they first estimated...went from 8/14 to 7/1.

I'm waiting on a back-ordered SIM2 2H with the Ventus Blue Velocore 9X and it's supposed to ship later in May. I built it 10 times on the TM site, and got varying delivery estimates from May until September! It was all based on what stupid grip you chose...

I thought its pretty convenient that TM shows expected dates for each part of

the club!

Yeah that was super helpful when I was ordering.  Granted, those dates are "expected" so definitely not set in stone.

 It didn't do that the last time I looked but it does today. In other bad news, when I rebuilt my club that's on backorder, it showed end of July.

 

I ordered it through a TM employee, so I can't call in and check on the date. The TM guy I ordered through is a friend of a friend, so I can't just harass the guy all the time about the delivery.... so frustrating.

Ordered a Sim2 Driver. It says scheduled arrival date is today...is that for the parts to arrive to them? Any idea how long to ship after that?

Better off rolling dice. I recieved mine withouy even getting a shipping notification, several weeks early! 🤷🏼‍♂️

On my order confirmation from Taylormade my order gives an expected ship date.  I called customer service to check on my order and they gave me an expected arrival date about 5 days later than the ship date, so the ship date seems valid.  Also, my order was not waiting for anything, all components for my club were in stock.  It was just waiting on lead time to build it.  I'm impatient so I check the order status every day and it says the same thing, processing.

I'm not exactly sure if my components were in stock or not. I was going to give them a call / email but figured they wouldn't be able to give my any other updates. For reference, my screen just looks like this:


It definitely did not arrive on May 4th.

You ordered yours 3 days before me.  Mine is expected to ship on 5/19, but doesn't show in queue yet.  If you call them they can tell you what it is waiting on, the chat on the website can't tell you anything about orders though.

There very few retailers and club fitters/builders that carry the 8* SIM 2.  I was lucky enough to get one through Justin_D.  I hope I don't crack the face on this like I did with my SIM MAX.  I do wish you luck though in your pursuit of what seems to be the unicorn for his year so far.

If you're not adverse to spending a bit more, I would suggest getting the SIM 2 hybrid with the stock rdx black and then buying the Ventus blue aftermarket.  It would get to you a hell of a lot faster.

I did order the stock rdx.  Im

gonna test it out on a TM And on the course.  
  Like most, i have been pressed for time...the smart thing to do would

be to get fitted! But no, i just ordered it! 
   I went to my local PGaSS which didnt have a rdx to demo. I was able to try the Ventus blue (no upcharge) shaft. I did like it. I Just dont feel like waiting for August!!  
  I will give the rdx a shot and at worst order up the real velocore.  Thnx!

Not sure if this will be helpful or not but I ordered a sim 2 rescue on April 7. 3i with ventus velocore 9X. It just showed up on my doorstep on Monday! Didn't get a shipping notification but I ordered through golfio.com custom not TM directly.

 

Finally got out to hit it yesterday and this thing blew me away. The shaft is definitely stout and it has a super penetrating launch and just wants to go straight. Sound and feel are rock solid - feels way more like an iron than a wood. Overall performing WAY better than the U500 (with fuji atmos TS black 9X) that I sold to make room for it. I found the U500 to be incredibly unforgiving and launched super high.

I was able to find one but had to purchase it while waiting for my warranty claim and it is no where near as good as the previous sim for me and I am not sure what to do. Launches 1-2* higher with +400 rpm backspin. This sucks. What is lower spin in similar loft to a 8* sim turned down?

Epic Speed LS Triple Diamond.  I don't think they come in 8* but they are really low spin heads.

Ordered a putter April 13 and last week the order progress said it was being built. Now when I check my order the progress bar is completely gone. WTF? I understand things are taking longer, but transparency is a big deal to me. I was/am supposed to receive by May 13, which is next week, but now I am in the dark because of the missing progress indicator. Anyone else not seeing the progress bar? Just want my putter.
