Wow!   What a drive.  PGA courses may need to be need lengthening.   Older golf fans may be angry and bitter but the young fans seem to like the excitement that Bryson brings to golf.

Sort of. DJ's shot was actually from 2018. Brandel at the timed claimed it was the greatest shot in golf history.

Yeah, the guy is T16 and only eight shots back. Once he bulks up to 500lbs and is hitting 700 yard drives then he might get to T8.

The dude just blew away the field at the US Open, currently ranked 5th in the world and has 7 PGA victories to his name. But lets act like he sucks, makes sense..

Like him or not he puts in the time and hard work. Deserves all the credit in the world as well. Does he act childish or immature at times on the golf course, yes. But so does / has multiple others pros ( including Tiger ).

 

To me he is good for the game. Showing there is a different way to play and do things outside of the boring Word not allowed norm.

Exactly too.   I watched a youtube interview with Bernhard Langer talking about playing with Rory and Bryson at The Masters.   Langer said he was like a spectator watching them and he said it was really entertaining.   He said the balls, after they hit driver, were in the air for a long long time.

And then langer beat him straight up. Golf is about lowest score not hardest worker, longest driver or guy who drinks the most protein shakes

Wow, the guy won a whole seven events in the past five years. So he might have seven more five years from now? And we need to change golf courses to prevent him from winning seven events over the next five years?

Until he cleans up his attitude, I don't care how far he drives the ball, I still won't be a fan.

I've seen him hit it in person, before he bulked up, and of course, on TV and he swings, really, really hard. It's a testament to his commitment to his swing method and practice that he can hit it relatively straight. I wonder if he is making himself more prone to injury the way he goes after it?  I guess time will tell.

Other than that, he seems like a crybaby and sort of a jerk.  I don't think he's garnering a following as "cool".

I'm not a fan of his, nor do I hate the guy, but I respect his work ethic and the fact that he has his playbook and he's sticking to it regardless of all the criticism he receives.
