Need help with Players Distance Irons. What is best 2021

A little about me.  I currently game the 2017 TM P790's.  Like them very much but the ho itch, needs to be scratched.  I am around a 10 handi.  Older guy, swing driver around 100.  View iron play as the strongest part of my game.  Fairly decent iron striker, not supurb (damn age again).  So I am looking at a new set of Players distance irons for 2021.  This might be a little early in the game since TM, and Cally have not introduced their 2021 line yet.  Here are what I think belong in this category, but I am open to discussion on this:

Titleist T200 - Know little about this iron.  I think they are on a 2 year cycle and probably won't be out with a new line until late season.

Titleist T100s - So not really sure this can be considered a Players distance Iron.  Have heard/read both ways so enlighten me.

Mizzy 921 HMP's - Certainly open here.  Wondering about feel, head size.

TM P790 2019 - I might be tempted since I have had such good luck with the 2017 version, but think that I would not be happy if in July they came out with the 2021 version.  Could be likely as they seem to be on a 2 year cycle with the P790 and they will be do.  Hate that they don't introduce with everyone else at the first part of the year.

Ping 500 - Know little.  Does this fit in the Players distance category?  Have heard some not so good reviews on these.

Srixon ZX5 - Really interested in these.  Wish they were a forged iron but the reviews are pretty good.

Cobra King Tour - Not sure this one belongs in the Players Distance category.  Also, wondering if this is a bit too much for my game.

There you have it.  Help me out with your comments.  Let me know if I have missed anything.  I will ultimately get fitted, but going in I would like to know what the wrx'rs are thinking.

Thanks in advance, look forward to your comments.

Dang,

Also, forgot to add:

Honma TX21 - New iron.  Hit the TR20 last year and it was runner up to the ones I was supposed to get but passed on.

TM irons are already out...

P770, P7MC, P7MB.

The P770 is able to achieve equivalent distance to the '19 P790 irons same loft, but in a smaller head and somewhat better feel.

I spent 2 hours with the new Apex line up over the weekend.......The standard Apex just kicked my JPX-921 forged out of the back up set spot No one but winter takes the Miura's out of the bag). The spin numbers were great, the feel was responsive and informative, loved the sound. Distance, trajectory, and dispersion were VERY consistent. I really like the improvements made over the Apex 19's.

In response to your post, here's what I know first hand about the below irons you mentioned.

-Mizzy 921 HMP's - Certainly open here.  Wondering about feel, head size. I found the top line to be a little too thick for my liking, and the stock lofts wouldn't fit my game. Now the 921 Forged, on the other hand.....perfection. Both models are absolute brilliance in just about every category from my own on course, and simulator testing. The Forged is my current winter/cold weather set.

-Ping 500 - Know little.  Does this fit in the Players distance category?  Have heard some not so good reviews on these. Best way I could sum up the i500's is to say they are like a difficult child. Sometimes you just want to put them up for adoption, but you love them too much to actually do it. Take a look at the i210's, better performance and feel IMO.

-Srixon ZX5 - Really interested in these.  Wish they were a forged iron but the reviews are pretty good. To be clear, I HATED the Z585's. it was a forced move to stay open minded about the ZX5 line. Thank God I did. If you like a clean top line, minimalist design/marking profile, and utter sheer performance then these might be worth your time. Long, soft, straight yet workable when you need to. Srixon turned out a very solid club with this one. I had planned to put these into the winter/cold weather slot until I hit the Apex 21's. Still keeping the set I have on the way, though.....

This is good information.  Would be interested to hear what you thought of the Apex Pro's.  My heart is with a blade type iron, but my head knows that day has probably passed.

Thanks for your comments regarding the Apex 21's.  I am only now reading and trying to find more out about them  Def on the must try list.  Just hard with out testing.  Would like the Pro's as indicated above.  It is all going to depend upon forgivness of the pro's.
