Golf bags

Hey guys looking into a new golf bag. Thinking of a Jones original. I do walk but I mostly ride in a cart. How is laying down the bag when you walk is it a hassle?

i have both the jones stand and carry bag.  I used the carry bag that you lie down during the hotter and drier months.  The bag is lighter than my stand bag.  Ive been using my stand bag during the fall and winter since the ground is wetter.  That being said, I prefer my carry bag since its lighter.  The way to use it is to stand the bag up, pull your clubs then lie it down rather than trying to pull it when the bag is on you or at an angle.  

 

Both bags, being smaller than the typical bag, have changed the way I play.  Ive stopped using my push cart and now only carry.  When I play a course that needs a cart, I try to ride with someone and dont strap my bag on the back.  I take a ride down fairway after driving off the tee and walk the rest of the way in.  I dont have to wait for my cart and clubs and I'm never waiting on others.  Im essentially holding my bag the whole round and it feels very nimble and versatile to me.

I had a carry bag, but didn't work for me. I play early, and when I put the bag down, it got wet. When I picked the wet bag up, I got wet.

Does anyone know what the story is with Titleist Linksmaster bags?  They look nice but where/how do you get one?
