Update: Played my first round with the 1k 50TX and had one of my best driving days (see arccos data). If I could hit a wedge and putt would have been nice..... All in, loving the new setup and this shaft is firmly in the bag.

FWIW I was playing the new 2021 prov1x and it was fantastic off the tee. Compared to my session at the range (using range balls) I was getting a much more powerful penetrating flight.

Just curious. Did you pickup any swing speed dropping the weight? I know some do and some don't. I am considering the 50tx to experiment with.

I ordered mine yesterday. Can't wait to get it and try it. Currently playing a Hzrdus smoke green, but never could get the proper launch.  Dispersion is amazing and it is amazing in strong wind, but struggle to get over 290 yards on a drive. Tested a ventus blue and in the driver it was definitely not for me, the black was ok, but similar flight to my green shaft. Saw the txg review and ordered it blind which I never do, but it seems to be exactly what I am looking for and nobody near me has one to demo.

Im interested to see how this turns out. I've been very happy with my Ventus Black 6X from TM as the Tensei PO 70TX I had in my M5 did not get along with my new SIM 2.

What shafts have you played in the past? Your preferred profile sounds like Diamana TB or ZF or even DF could fit.

I have, but only hit into my net. Should be nice enough to get to the range Thursday or Friday up here in NH. I went for the 60TX playing 46”. I’m testing against Ventus Black 7x at 45.25” and AV raw Orange 65TX at 45.5”.

Even after just a few swings, it’s clear that I’ll have to solve for swingweight with the 1K. Ventus and AV feel similar with regards to SW, but the 1K feels like a sledgehammer. I’ll get it on the scale, but guessing it’s up around E0. The SIM2 head is 196g and the front weight is only 4g, so maybe I’ll try a counterbalanced grip like TXG Ian did with his. On the few swings that I timed up, the 1K felt great with plenty of kick through impact. The crisp but smooth feel of the “white” profile Mitsubishi shafts seems to never disappoint.

Perhaps I have missed it in the thread, but was just curious if anyone has any feedback on how this might compare to the DF, been using that for almost the last 2 years.  Played the original Pro White for a season when that came out. Just trying to decide if it's worth a try.

How would you compare the feel of the 1k vs the AV Raw Orange?  Thank you!

I got Sim2 8* head and was looking for a shaft. I first tried it with Ventus Blue 7X and liked it a lot in terms of the feel. It was super smooth, almost too smooth in a good way, but spun too much even at the lowest loft setting (2800-3000rpm). Then I got TPW 1K 60TX yesterday and tested it out with Trackman. Felt great, not as smooth as Ventus Blue but still pretty smooth. Definitely feel smoother and easier to load than the previous TPW which I gamed 70TX in Epic Flash SZ TD 8*. Spin came down around  2400rpm with the 1K, so I decided to put it in play! I'm probably going to make the front weight of the head heavier and back weight lighter to see if I can lower the spin more once aftermarket back weight becomes available.

The 1K is a direct replacement for Pro White. DF is a much different profile. MCA say it’s a blend of whiteboard and blueboard. The 1K will be stiffer through the middle of the shaft than DF.

Finally got to hit my shaft today. Two days ago was 30+ mph winds and yesterday we had gusts upwards of 55 mph and today was back around 40 degrees. All I have to say is this shaft is legit. Went to my local golf center and hit it on the simulator because I couldn't wait any longer. It is smooth, very smooth with a noticable lower kick even in the tx flex (60g). The biggest thing I noticed was the dispersion.  Even miss hit shots didn't hook or slice crazy. I even bounced one fat off the mat and it still went over 250 yards.  The owner even let me try a av raw white 65tx and a av raw orange 65tx to compare. The white raw 65tx launched lower and felt very "boring" and about 10 yards shorter.  The av orange was a little better but still was over 5 yards shorter. The owner had a 1k in 50S tipped for a sim 2 and let me have at it.  It launched about the same but spun a little bit higher than my Cobra SZ and dispersion was about the same, but the closest in distance I could get it to was about 8 yards less than my Cobra (both drivers 9 degree and standard).

With EFSZ TD/TPW70TX (std loft setting), I remember I was swinging around 113mph club head speed and getting 165-172mph ball speed, 1800-2200rpm spin rate, a little flatter ball flight than Sim2 with 1K.

I was gaming Tour AD XC 7X untipped and 6X tipped 1 in Sim 9*

If this performs like pro white but with better feel I will get one for my sim2 max the hzrdus rdx blue and ventus blue have been good but one the best combos of recent was my m5 with pro white 60tx

Better place your order because this shaft is exactly what you are wanting.

Has anyone in the thread specifically tried the 50TX like Ian did in the TXG video?

I’m currently gaming a Ventus Blue 6X like Ian and I’m definitely intrigued by his additional 16 yards of carry by going to 46 inches and moving into the 50TX
