Evnroll Er2

Just ordered an Evnroll ER2. I spent about about 3 hours testing different putters at Carl's golfland here in MI an decided based on what I was looking for in a putter for many years has finally come to fruition. I just ordered an ER2 34 inch left handed with the gravity grip. I 've been searching for a putter than could stay in my bag for longer than a year and up until this point I've been un-successful, but after trying this putter out on a whim, I'm convinced that this will be in the bag for a while. I did a ton of research leading up until this point, but ordered the Er2 as this is the best fitting putter for me. Any thought on similar experiences?

I thought the same until I did an actual fitting and it was an awful putter for me for aim. Roll part eh nothing special and feel was dead. 

 

Now if you like it then hope it works.

I too just purchased an ER2. The aesthetic is great but for me it was the way the balls comes off the face. Gravity grip as well. We shall see. If it doesn't work out, I'm sure it will end up in the classifieds.

The same exact thing happened to me at my fitting. Was hoping to walk out with an ER2 but the fitter axed that one quickly.

I guess to each their own @KGGolf how you liking it so far. Mine will be here in 2-3 weeks and I will go get fitted for lie/loft at that time. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

 

I think the Odyssey OG 7 would've been on my radar as well, but wanted a milled putter

Really love my ER2. I keep trying other putters but always come back to my ER2.

I got mine in late 2016. Just so consistent for me

Went with the black headcover as well. Figured the stock one would get to dirty, since it's white

I have had mine for a year and really like it. Best putter I have ever owned.

Hoping to keep mine for a long time as well. Switching putters every year doesn't allow you enough time to get used to it. That's why I made the decision to spend the money on a quality putter that will be with me for a while

I also play a fitted ER2B, which is just the blacked out version. I do like the roll, I think its very consistent distance wise. The feel is whatever for me, I've seen a lot of people say it feels soft, but it feels similar to most milled putters I've tried, imo. The sound is different though, that I will say. Took a good while to find putting grip hand placement that felt comfortable with the gravity grip as well, but I do enjoy the gravity grip in itself.

Good feedback @vstensrud23. Unfortunately my options are limited in left handed, so couldn't go with the murder out one, which is what I prefer. How's the wear been on the black? Most black putters tend to lose the paint after a few rounds

I haven't had any issues with color fading yet, not to say that it won't at some point, but I definitely hope not, because it looks great. Although I've traditionally used Spider putters so I'm used to having to make sure they are covered at all times, and still seeing some paint fade/chips.

Good to know. Yeah, you have to keep those headcovers on otherwise they will get destroyed

Any other experiences with the Evnroll putters? I know MGS is to the moon on this company and their products. They tied for the best blade putter for 2020. These don't seem to get the love they deserve. Hopefully some pro's will put these in their bags this year, but money talks.

Its a great putter for my game, great feel, and an excellent roll , glad to have it.

I have the ER2B with a stability shaft and the standard evnroll black grip.  The stability shaft makes it feel heavier but it really improved my putting, which is good considering how much it cost.  2 questions and feedback is appreciated:

 

- Does anyone have this same putter w/ stability shaft and the gravity grip?  How does it perform compared to standard weight grips?

 

- My head is the standard one with no weight listed so I assume it's 355 grams.  Anyone have this setup with 370 gram version - feedback on that?

If it’s the newer putters with no weight listed, one dot is 355g and two dots is 370g

I have the ER2 and it is great.  It has clearly been an excellent choice as the past season with it has been one of my best putting seasons.  The only issue I’m now having is that the ER2.2 might be a better choice for my putting stroke based on a GG fitting I recently did on a whim.  Gonna get a second fitting and give the ER2.2 a real testing.  
Evnroll putters are certainly worth a try by anyone looking at putters.
