I agree, very good shaft. I have one in the Epic Speed and it is about as stable as I have ever hit.

Best 50 gramish stiff shaft I have ever hit, My ss is 95-100, just wants to go straight and is smooth feeling, a combo I had never found in this weight range before. Loving it in my Max. Going to order the 60 variant in a speed 4 wood.

Can you tell me more about this shaft ? Launch ? Spin ? Thanks, looking for a good 50 gram shaft for a friend.

I'm finding it to be mid launch and low to mid spin for me. I've recently shallowed my driver swing though too, so that's making the bigger difference. It may not have been such a great shaft with my old much steeper swing. Playing mine in an Epic Speed 9°. The stability of the shaft is a bit of a mind boggler as my driver ss averages 108.

Are you playing the 50 Mid version 6.0 ?

I am curious as well.

Demoed the new Cobra ltdx driver. My swing speed is usually in the 100 to 105 mph range on average. I compared this shaft in 6.0 to the smoke blue.

I do not have an aggressive transition and I found that I hit this shaft much better than the smoke blue. It actually launched a little bit higher but with less spin than the blue for me and the dispersion seemed tighter. I think because of where it is softer in the butt and a bit stiffer in the middle it just loads better for my swing than the blue RDX

I had the exact same experience as you.

Got fitted this past Wednesday for a Cobra LTDX LS driver and the iM10 6.0 stiff was head & shoulders better for me than the RDX Blue in every category: Higher club head & ball speed, better carry & total distance, much tighter dispersion and better accuracy.

I've got one of these coming in my new Callaway Rogue Max LS 9*. I went with the 60g/6.0. My current shaft is a HZRDUS Yellow with the same specs. Curious to compare.

I just got fitted for a 7 wood on Trackman, and wound up with the Cobra LTDX Max 22 turned down to 21* with the Hzrdus im10 60 (actually 65g) Mid 5.5.  This combo just absolutely worked for me!  The OCD person in me is now looking at my bag and seeing 3 different manufacturers of woods, and it is kinda killing me. lol.  Thinking about the LTD-X Max 3 wood now with the same shaft, to replace the TSi2 4 wood.  The struggle is real....

Rogue ST Max @ 10* (IZ-6 SR)

TSi2 @ 16.5* (Ventus Red 6R, -2g)

TSi2 @ 21* (Motore X F3 7S, -2g, tip'd .5")

818 H1 @ 24* (Diamana S+ 82S, tip'd 1.5")

Pro 223 5-GW (Modus3 115 - S)

RTX6 54/10, RTX6 58/6 (Modus3 115 - S, 1* flat)

Has anyone found a good fairway wood shaft that fits the profile of the im10? I love the im10 in my driver and have a apex uw that I’m thinking of changing the shaft on. The head is a lot heavier though so not sure if it would be the right choice to try and match it.

Which UW loft? You could get away with the 70g version in any of them, but moreso in the 17/19* models. In the 21* @ 41" you might want to go to an 80g class shaft which is not offered in the im10 line.

I believe any mid-soft profile is a pretty close fit.

I ordered and LTDX with the 66g IM10 shaft 6.5.  Really wanted to try the shaft.  Curious to see how it swings seeing as I have not used a counterbalanced shaft in a few years.  I hope it ends up being amazing, but if not I can go back to my RDX Black.  I will give my thoughts on it when it comes in.  I expected to have the driver by now, but looks like I will have to wait until Monday or  Tuesday.

I went ahead and purchased this shaft to play in my Mavrik SZ. I'm completely in love with that thing, I hit it so well.

And because it's relatively inexpensive I ordered its 70g brother (45,5 inches, no tipping) from Callaway and will have it installed in my SIM titanium 3 wood to replace the HZRDUS Smoke Black 70g 6.5 that I'm playing right now.

Do you feel like it is softer than the Black?  I ordered the 6.5 IM10, and just curious how it will compare.  I figure I can switch to the Black if I don't like it.

Had a range session with the IM10 6.5 mid, and already ditched it.  After dry swings, I was excited because I like the feel at the top, but the shaft was too stiff for me.  Couldn't get the ball to launch, could not draw the ball, and had consistent low face contact.  Plugged the RDX Black in, and it has been a much better experience.

Apologies for not seing your post earlier. Based on memory (haven't hit the OG black in a while) I would say the IM10 felt softer in the mid section, which is something I usually like : butt and tip stiff, softer mid. But I did like (and play) both at some point in my golfing journeys. The RDX Black however is a clear misfit for my swing. Sorry the IM10 didn't work out for you.

I had just finished 18 and asked my playing partner if I could hit his Cobra LTDx with a 6.0  mid spin 60g IM10 in it.  Long story short, I couldn’t miss a shot.  Better launch, lower spin, more carry, higher apex than my TSI3 with a Tour AD XC-6 Stiff.  Both 9 degree drivers.  So I picked up a brand new LTDx head and a brand new IM10 for $227 on EBay, tore my retina, had surgery, so I’ll have to wait 6 weeks to give it an on course test it against my TSi3.  Can’t wait.

Craziest thing I've read. Never heard anyone tear their retina shopping on ebay!
