Hey guys! Thought I’d share an awesome experience I had with Breakthrough Golf Technologies in Texas. @Manimal26 hooked it up and  did over my putter to create a masterpiece. If you’re looking for the

BGT might be the best in the business. I have zero intentions of hitting putts ever again without one.

I have Stability Tour shafts in a Bettinardi BB8 and a TaylorMade Spider X Chalk.  I've tried a few different putter shafts:  UST Frequency Filtered, Accra Fx, Stroke Lab 1.0/2.0.  The Stability Tour

He bought it from me. We did a virtual fit and I built at BGT HQ

I'm unsure, my One and Done is a double bend. So they're just sending me the coupler and graphite portion of the shaft to install on top of the existing shaft on mine. If you go through their website, it's pretty straightforward. They ask for putter make and model then tell you which one you need.

Are the specs on the Stability Tour LE black any different from the previous Stability Tour shaft? I have the Stability Tour shaft in a Toulon Austin and have been loving it. Such a stable and consistent roll, yet still gives a good feel on how/where you strike the ball. The Austin putter head is around 350 grams but still feels a little head heavy, i think using a heavier putter head would require a heavier grip or counterbalance weight. It is pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

Still feels amazing and have no plans to take this putter out of the bag. I’m an old D1 college golfer (in my 30’s now) and absolutely love this putter shaft with the spider x. The stability tour has definitely helped the feel of the putter and still gives you great feedback on mishits. I agree with everyone saying you won’t go back to a normal steel putter shaft.

updated specs - changed out 6g weights with 2g weights to bring swingweight down to D8

I keep wondering where is the test data?  If this revolutionary shaft is going to make more putts why hasn’t BGT strapped two identical putters one standard shaft one BGT shaft to one of these. Set up on a really putting surface and proved the concept.  How many more 20 footers fall?

And aren’t toe drop and toe down putter heads supposed to create torque to help golfers with an arch in their stroke?

I would also like to see test data on some of the “torque free” putters like Axis, LAB or Edel.

The problem with robot testing is that it doesn’t account for any of the human elements that make this something worthwhile trying. A robot test does nothing to measure the “feel” change, which is subjective anyway. If you program the robot to hit a 20 foot putt 50 times it’s going to do that at a pretty consistent rate. Taking a 10 handicap or a 20 handicap and having them do the same will produce wildly different results. Also worth noting, if you’re not a consistent enough putter it probably won’t make much of a difference either. I think the determining factor is better judged as the length of your next putt versus the amount of putts made.

I’m playing the Stability shaft in two of my three putters and my lag putting is significantly better. Not that I’m making more, that’s negligible, but the fact that I have more putts inside of 2’ than being outside of 2’.

So at 34.25" with a heavy grip and 40g backweighting this thing still comes out to E0!?

What's the balance point on that putter shaft? That seems like a super high swingweight still.

2.0 is only 55 grams, only slightly heavier than a Lamkin Deep Etched Cord with the 40g cb weight added, and moving to 6g head weights added 8g to the head. The balance points are pretty neutral though. Not all that different than steel. My putters with them swing weight almost identical before and after the swap.

Robot testing will tell you if the BGT shafts actually roll the ball any better than a regular shaft or if it is JUST a "feel" difference.  You can set the robot up to roll putts that are just out of the sweet spot.  Slightly to the toe or heel, high or low on the face.  That will tell you if these shafts are rolling the ball better, or if they are more stable than any other shaft.  That would be good information. It doesn't mean that you shouldn't try it out. Feel is definitely important, at least to a lot of people.  But for the price, it is important information to know.  How much is JUST feel worth?
