Ditto. Depending on conditions I might hit 3 wood or hybrid on a couple of holes reducing the number to 11-12 but generally I can/will hit driver 13 times.

I usually hit my driver 11-13 times on my home course.

The last course we played it was 8-9 times a round.

I like to increase my driver usage by spraying a few balls into the woods and re-teeing during a round.

Chicks dig a long shaft and big head... unfortunately mines is only 45 inches with a 460cc... i should just get the surgery 😥

They don't care how big or how long the shaft is, it's all about how you use it.

I used to believe that argument but the reality is: in golf EVERY shot matters. Whether you use your driver 0 times or 100 time a round every SINGLE shot matters. It is also one of the hardest clubs to perfect due to the massive head, long shaft and ball being teed up. Would you rather play every second shot out of the trees or in the middle of the fairways?  I empathize with people that are always looking for quick fixes on the driver and end up spending all their money on drivers every year.

Agree completely!  How much better can we be if that second shot is from the middle of the fairway, but maybe 20 yards further out from the green, rather than in the woods behind a tree periodically.  I want to actually get better at golf this year and do so by being in the fairway more often, however I get there...  if that is a better swing with the driver or benching it for the fairway wood on some holes, let’s do that!  We can still go in the woods to look for balls, but let’s do that trying to help our playing partners look for their balls!  Let’s focus on taking some money off of them!
