Looks like someone finally released a hybrid that can compete with the Callaway Apex. High toe and compact profile. Adjustable too. Really nice. Still have a Rescue Dual TP I refuse to get rid of.

Do you think the 818 H2 from Titleist compared to the Apex?

Nah.  The first one is better.  I prefer the larger footprint , if I wanted it to look like a fat iron.  I’d just play an iron.

818 H2 was definitely better compared to the TS3. Still a slightly more boxy profile compared to the Apex. I like hybrids that look like irons. High toe. Wider front to back at the toe than the heel. Adams set the blueprint for hybrid design. TM bought them, Callaway copied them. You put an Adam’s red hybrid down by a callaway apex ‘16 hybrid and you will have a hard time telling them apart. The sim2 hybrid is return to the “pro style” hybrid profile. The bigger toe will naturally push the CG toward the toe and make this more fade biased/neutral vs the sim hybrid.

Sure does. I like the adjustability and flatter lie angle of the Sim2 Rescue vs the Max on paper. Had last years Sim Max hybrid and overdrew it.

THIS is the only club in 2021 I have my eyes on, can't find a decent review anywhere. I've been gaming the 2014 Adams Pro hybrid and have yet to find anything that compares, hoping this is that unicorn club!

I am in a similar situation. I am looking to get adjustability vs the SIM Max Rescue I currently have and it looks like the SIM2 Rescue gives lower launch and less spin in the Youtube reviews I have seen.

My SIM2 Tour #4, 22* arrived with spec at -0.75" and a black 10g weight is installed...SW @ D2.5.

Thump 100X tipped 2".

all the New SIM2 product will be in stores tomorrow for sale.  I suggest going in and try them out. SIM2 hybrid vs. SIM2 max hybrid are 2 totally different clubs.

That is an incredible idea. In the meantime I would enjoy reading about any other personal experiences that people have had with these clubs.

Adjusting on sim2 but not sim2 max. Sim2 has the weight port to be able to adjust. My sim2 max ordered at -.5 came in at C9 I added lead tape to get it back up to D3

Just came back from taking a look at the SIM 2 rescue at my local retail store. The head looks absolutely beautiful, the shaping and cosmetics are spot on with other classic players hybrids like Callaway Apex '16, Adams Pro, etc. This looks like a club you can hit out of the rough or off the tee equally well.

 

That said, the tensei blue shaft in stiff felt like a wobbly Top Flite seniors/women's club. I tried a demo hybrid last year with this shaft on trackman and it flew to the moon and drew left frequently. I'm not a shaft expert and I'm sure there's some aerospace grade important sounding stuff inside, but I just couldn't get over the wobbly feeling. This is my personal bias, YMMV. Really strange why they would choose this shaft for the club.

Which was TM's last great players hybrid.  The M1's sucked and the M3's were a no Adams shaped TM shaped looking 17M1.  The Gapr was hideous as well.

Got my Sim 2 19.5 in., Ventus Blue 90X. Great muted sound/feel.  Flat trajectory.   Gonna be a solid performer for most people.
