G425 delivery times

My  custom 10.5 Max arrived on Saturday via UPS directly from Ping.  Problem is I am demoing a Srixon ZX5 and I am so impressed I don't think the G425 Max is going to get a chance to make the bag.

Checked with Carl’s today. My custom Max is scheduled to deliver Wednesday. Ordered it on 1/18.

I was told 3-4 with the stock shaft offerings.

Ordered custom G425 Max with Ventus Black 6X on 1/17, received it today.

I was told my pre-order G425 max will arrive with the others on Feb 4. Called to confirm it's there and the manager said no. They said it will arrive by the 16th. She said mine is custom but it really isn't (45.25" tensei orange 55 stiff) The shop only has the 65 stiff in stock

2 weeks for them to chop off half an inch?

 

I preordered the 9* G425 Max with Tensei Orange 65 stiff.  I cut it down and regripped it so I wouldn't have to wait.  Sad part is I'm still having to wait to hit it thanks to mother nature.

According to Ping website both Tensei and the Aldila Rogue are standard at 45 1/4"

I stand corrected, the fine print does say 45 1/4".

My G425 irons had a 2/16 ship date because of custom specs, but Ping shipped them 2/5. Got them in Monday, My G425 woods shipped same day and supposed to get here today because FedEx is FedEx.

Just checked with Ping, Rogue White X is delayed until Early April. Pretty big bummer after pre-ordering

Updating: Ping actually hasn’t received their last two shipments from Aldila.

CS person I talked to didn't know. He had only known about Ping iron heads and Golf Pride products that fell in

Still haven’t received the custom driver I ordered on 1/19. Fitted for the first time too. The industry recommends to get custom fitted but doesn’t tell you it can take a month to have it in hand. Just need to have patience.

its been taking about 4 weeks for g425 product to ship out for custom orders.  so you're close to that.  what was custom about your order or just a pre-order?

My shop still hasn't received my order either.  Been 4 weeks so far but I am in Canada so I'm sure that has something to do with it.  Anyone else in Canada order G425 Max or fairway woods?  What was the wait time?  The G425 Max is a custom order with hotmelt but other than that, standard.

It’s really not that “custom”. I did the fitting and got better numbers with a 55G stiff vs 65G stiff Tensei Orange and better dispersion vs Sim 2 Epic and the TS2. It’s a standard offering not an up charge exotic shaft.

Ordered a 435 LST driver on Jan 11th, the only thing custom was I asked for it to be digitally lofted.  No updates or expected ship date and it's Feb 23rd??

Ordered a 7w with Tensei Orange 75 on 2/7 and they just got back to me that it would be late April due to that shaft not being currently available.

Jan 11 for my Hybrid and Jan 21 for my Max, and both with digital lofting and hotmelt only in my Max fairway.

Neither of shown up yet or shipped. Located in Western Canada.

I placed my order yesterday, my rep says 4-5 weeks due to the shaft being on back order (AV Orange)

 

Is digital lofting an extra charge?

late april??? that sucks. ordered a 5w last week with that shaft and 2nd swing told me 6 weeks WTF ..

Not really their fault, almost every single OEM is having issues with component lead time. TM has basic x100 iron shafts back ordered until late may...

Anyone have any clues or possible lead times on fairway and hybrid order for a PING Tour R flex shaft? I'm a lefty and a lot of stores don't carry what I'm looking for in stock. I'm not looking for any special requests, just a LH with a Tour shaft. Would it be still 4 weeks at this point? Just curious what to expect if I decide to order.
