MMT 95 Taper Iron Shaft --??

I was settled on Fuji Pros, then SF FC 115s --and now the MMT 95 Taper. Hit it today and it makes sense that I liked it --similar bend profile to the Modus 120 minus the ballooning I sometimes get with that shaft. I understand that this Taper 95 is a new model (new as of August). Anyone have experience with it? I won't bore you with the details, but I had a chance to hit it in an Apex 19 head (and the 105 in a P770). The differences were stark. Flatter ball flight with the 95s, more feel/kick (for me--7i SS 85). First time I walked away from hitting a graphite iron shaft (that light) that felt good to me. Hopefully, some of you know the shaft?

Thanks... a long thread, but a long thread full of guys swinging the 125TX... trying to find feedback on the 95, as that would seem (to me) to be a popular weight. It was a serendipitous moment today, as I was able to hit the ZX5/7 in a SF i95 (pretty nice) and then went and saw a rather famous fitter nearby who told me that he hit the FC 90s last year and changed to the MMT 105s. He let me hit the 95 in an Apex head and the 105 in a P770. The 95 in the Apex head was an easy winner (for me) over everything to date. Ironically, he was re-gripping a set of irons that had the Fuji Pros in them... Bottom line: Everyone feels something different. That said, the MMTs embody new tech (FWIW).

I am also interested in this. I know may people here will go 125TX but people like me would be much interested in 95s. How it compares with other popular average joe shafts like modus 105, 950 DG105, KBS Tour V or $ taper, etc... Or how it compares with aerofiber 95, catalyst 100, etc...

Anyone know the actual weight of it? I read that the 105 shaft is actually 114g

The 105TX is 114g.  The 105S is 105g

Any feedback on MMT 95s (or similar) from someone with around 100 SS?  Building a set of Miuras and trying to find some good feeback on these shafts.  Currently in Modus 105s

Very late reply, but I recently reshafted my irons with the MMT 95 non-taper in stiff.  My driver swing speed is 100.  It's a great smooth shaft similar to the Nippon 950 GH in stiff, but a bit firmer in the tip.  I tested the Fuji Pro, UST Mamiya 95 (non-proto) and MMT 80 before settling on these.  Great shafts.

Late, late reply but I have the 95s on my Apex '21 9i-5i and absolutely love them. I've played KBS Tour S and DG S300s for last decade and am a happy convert. Very solid feel throughout transition and you can really feel the kick through impact. (96-98 SS)
