Titleist AVX changes soon?

I was at the local golf shop (Moon Golf) this week, and in checking out their ball prices I saw they still had the Titleist AVX marked down to $39.99.  I asked the lady behind the counter about the price, and she said Titleist was changing up the AVX.  She was multi-tasking and slightly flustered when I asked, so grain of salt, but I was wondering if anyone had insight as to what is going on with the AVX and if it was going to be either changing or going away in the near future.

I thought Titleist revamped it a year ago. Titleist normally runs a 2 year cycle on their premium balls.

Correct. The next revision will be for the 2022 season.

I don't know man... they seem to pump out ProV's that are longer, straighter, spinnier, have more stopping power, etc. just about every year.

the $39.99 price was the winter sale price...they are back to normal pricing here 😕

If they drop a new one I would be shocked. Per our mom n pop local shop new Prov1/X next week but nothing was said about the AVX and as you are aware I'm a big fan of that ball. Titleist unlike other OEM sticks to their release cycle pretty well. You can expect new irons/hybrids from them this spring/summer for example.
