New TaylorMade Spider 2021 February Release info/picture??

The ones made for tour players look so much better. I really hope they make a MySpider EX.

I remember having a Spider once.....the paint finish fell off just looking at it, hopefully they've solved that issue now.

I have been putting indoors with last year's Spider X/Chalk and really like the putter.  That being said, I would like to try the new Spider SR and compare it to my Toulon Las Vegas.

Taiwan sells JDM spec clubs, and from what I remember 34” putters are the longest stock options. JDM clubs are usually shorter and lighter shafts/SW.

I'd think it'd be more rearward. With the aluminum frame and larger rear weights? But more forward would make sense seeing thats how they went with the FCG.

The side view shows darker material just behind the face, on the perimeter. Maybe weighting...?

Definitely heavily perimiter weighted. 

 

Spider X putters weights were 2g/6g/12g.

 

Spider EX putter weights are 20g/25g/30g.

Looks like the new colour on the spider x is supposed to be a higher quality finish as well.

 

The EX seems to be a bit bigger head, higher MOI and has a new shaft.

It says on the chinese website that it's 3.5 mm larger and 2.7 mm longer.

Just spoke with my fitter and he confirmed the EX will be hitting stores towards the end of March

I had the same problem with a red finished one.  Really disappointed me. I keep it in my car in case I get chance for a quick practice when I am picking my daughters up from their golf coaching because I still love the putter, but my gamer is a PXG Operator and the difference in quality finish is night and day.

Thanks for sharing. Not a huge fan of the looks. I thought last years spider was way better looking.

Thanks to a lightweight aluminium body, enough weight is freed up to allow 56g of steel to be split between two discrete back wings and a further 20-30g of tungsten (depending on shaft length) to be positioned in the extremities of the toe and heel behind the face. That extra weight on the outer edges of the putter provides a huge amount of stability performance.

I won one of these Spider EX putters on the golfstarcompetions website (well technically I win a Spider X, but he offered me the EX if I wanted to wait). Can’t wait for it to be released.
