I'm one of his "Korean" fans.  The guy doesn't have a 120+mph swing or 180+mph ball speed, but he can sure as hell putt lights out.  I also like that he gets fired up on the course and shows some emot

I love the fact that he always acknowledges his Korean fans and relatives back in Korea.   Also thanking his caddy of 13 years, he’s 100% class.

Question regarding his WITB... Isn't 19* hybrid equivalent to 18* fairwaywod?

The shafts lengths are probably pretty different in length with the hybrid playing more like a 3 iron replacement to fit his gaps.

He always has a such a awesome setup.

That PXG hybrid must be pretty good.  I've seen it pop up in a few non-PXG bags on tour now.

I am a PXG homer and the Gen2 hybrid is the best club they make.

Great win for Kevin. Love watching him putt.

Most surprising thing here is the 54-60 wedge setup.  Most all shorter hitters will have a gap sand lob setup.

I love that Na is a Callaway staffer and yet does not have a single current generation Callaway club in his bag. You'd at least think they'd get him in the Jaws wedges! The guy just plays what works for him.

Remember when everyone was sour on Na because he had the full swings yips. He was unlikeable like Bubba and Dechambeau. Glad he’s now accepted, and a fun, people’s championship.

Na was a regular -opposite side of the driving range practice guy- at old Empire Lakes in Rancho Cucamonga in the Inland Empire, CA, home of a Nike Tour event for several years. Saw him practicing out there many times. He also has several “honorary(?)” memberships at small country clubs around the area.

He made it happen at public muni’s, and that’s always cool 😎

I love the looks of that slant neck Toulon of his. However, I'm pretty sure he had a different putter at the Sony, a plumbers neck with a silver finish. His 39 putts at the Masters may have benched the slant neck?

Empire Lakes!  Now there's a blast from the past!  Always meant to play it but never did although I did stop and hit some balls on their range once.  It's been gone a while now though.  Think they developed it into homes or condos or something like that.  Forget.

some players dont care about every gap. Its about the shot. Especially as 'shorter' player on tour.  No chance on certain courses passing on going for a par 5 in two simply because you have a bad lie for the 5 wood. That 4 iron is at 21 degrees as well. 3 clubs within 3 degrees. He's given up a wedge to stack his long clubs to try to compete, and probably has such a good feel in the short game that it doesnt hinder him much.

I was referring to his speech in Korean language, I've been to Korea many times on business and have a reasonable understanding of Korean culture.

Loved browsing through the golf shops in Seoul to see the local brands and other stuff I would never see in Australia.
